Note: I played as Thomas the fox. I’m not sure if the other character will give you this cheevo as I’m currently on my first play through.
To get this achievement you need to complete the main objective “The Price of Justice.” This objective contains 7 parts (officially) but there are really 9.
1. Ask your cellmate how to contact the outside
2. Leave you cell and go to the lobby for headcount
2. Give your lawyer Reed a call. (Main building lobby) - for this I persuaded someone to leave. There’s usually no one at the phones late at night if you aren’t able to persuade the current user or you don’t have enough money to pay them to leave.
3. Ask a guard about visitation details. - I asked Billy(the guard that you find in the lobby that sells items). You’ll also have to talk to Bruce who will tell you that he wants you to do something for him first (see #4)
4. Get the blue ledger. (Caesar the Chimp’s cell is B205). - you’ll go in Caesar’s cell to find the cabinet locked. You’ll have to obtain a lock pick. You can trade for one, which is tough unless you have high rapport with someone who has one to trade. Otherwise, you can craft them. At the table in your cell, you can craft 2 at a time (requires 2 paperclip + 2 nail). I found my items while searching trash cans. You also might find them if you get a job on the roof site. After you have the lock pick, you can go to Caesar’s room and unlock the cabinet. You’ll read the ledger and then you can grab anything else that might be in the cabinet.
5. Give the ledger to Bruce. - This will give you priority visitation privilege and the prison will call your lawyer.
6. Wait patiently for tomorrow’s visit. - just go to bed. When you wake up, you will attend head count and immediately taken to see your lawyer.
When you go see your lawyer, you’ll remember something that happened 3 months before your arrest. It’ll take you back to your apartment and you will briefly play as a free fox! You’ll talk on the phone and then once you’re done, you’ll be outside. Go left and at the end of the fence you’ll automatically notice a flower pot. Search the pot, and you’ll get a business card. There are 6 places you need to look at on the business card then then the scene will end and the game will go back to real time. The cheevo will pop after that.
