-Walk left, into the back area near the phone.

-Walk over to the exit, but do not leave. Emmett will interrupt you and say "Eureka!"
-Walk back over to Emmett.
-Interact with Emmett's Invention.
-Walk back to the counter in the front of the building.
-Interact with Bowl of Crummy Soup.
-Dialog (Cue Ball): Any.
-Interact with Pipe.
-Interact with Exit.


This is your last chance to free roam the town and explore. If there is anything you would like to do just for fun, do it now.


-Walk into the center of town square.
-Interact with Edna.
-Dialog (Edna): "I know a charity that needs a soup delivery."
-Dialog (Edna): "The Stay Sober Society!"
-Dialog (Emmett): "They're sober".
-Dialog (Emmett): "They'll be quiet."
-Dialog (Emmett): "Okay then. Forget the whole thing."
-Trophy: Junior Bootlegger Badge Unlocked!


The scene transition to Emmett's Lab.


-Dialog (Emmett): Any.


Unfortunately, the order in which these machines need activated is random every time. Watch and listen for Emmett's cues, he will say them loudly, and in the subtitles they will be listed in all capitals. You must get every cue/command correct without messing up once. If you mess up once and Emmett comes down to tell you to listen for his cues, then press the button and quit to the XMB. Now restart up the game and load. This will put you back at the beginning of the mixing sequence so that you may try again. Alternatively, as DarkSeraphim666 so graciously pointed out, you can simply press and load from there. Emmett will come down stairs and inform you when you have hit the 25%, 50%, and 75% marks. The speed at which the cues come increases the further you are. Beware that about halfway through, Emmett's father will begin shouting similar cues. Ignore those and focus only on the ones said by Emmett. The cues and their respective machines are:


Stoke Fire:
-Fire

Sprinkle Bacteria Food:
-Eating
-Food
-Microorganism
-Bacteria
-Shake
-Fed
-Scatter

Release Gaseous Pressure:
-Release Valve

Turn Electrical Crank:
-Spins
-Crank
-Current
-Turn
-Shock
-Generated

-Lightning
-Move
-Rotation

Watch for those cues, then use the machine associated with them. They occur in a random order remember. Once you finish this sequence, Emmett will come down and talk to you.

-Dialog (Emmett): Any.
-Trophy: Fuelmaster Unlocked! (IF you did the fuel mixing sequence without failing!)
-Trophy: Jailbreak! Unlocked!

-Interact with Jet Drill Remains.
-Interact with Edna's Bicycle.

The scene transitions to standing behind the back doors of the moving armored vehicle.

-Walk/Move to the right.
-Interact with Antenna.
-Interact with Toolbox.
-Walk/Move left.
-Interact with "Go Left".
- Use Item on Tire Iron to equip it.
-Interact with Spare Tire. (With Tire Iron equipped.)
-Interact with Front Window.
-Interact with Keys.
- Use Item on Antenna to equip it.
-Interact with Keys (With Antenna equipped.)
- to go back.
-Interact with Rear Window.
