How to unlock the Tuned Out achievement in Back to the Future: The Game - 30th Anniversary Edition - Definitive Guide

This achievement occurs during Episode 2 - Get Tannen

Once inside Tannen's Speakeasy Cueball will be playing the piano for Trixie who is on stage singing, next to Cueball is a collection of sheet music, there are 5 songs to hear Trixie sing to, interact with the Sheet Music to select the songs, let them fully play out before selecting the next.

The songs are:
''I Don't Care''
"Angry Song"
"Sad Song"
"Secret Song"
"Happy Song''

She starts with I Don't Care when you enter. If you let it finish then interact with her, you don't have to select that song again. By the way, (1) the sheet music doesn't appear until you interact with Parker, and (2) you need a sad song to interact with him 2nd time, so end with that one...

I let her finish the song when I entered and I still had to select I Don't Care from the sheet music to get the achievement to pop.

Thank you DuBear61, why that crucial piece of information wasn't included in the main suggestion is beyond me.

I feel this achievement might be kinda glitchy. I didn't see this guide at first and didn't let the songs fully play themselves out. Here is the order of events from my play-through:

1) "I Don't Care Song" fully play itself from the get-go
2) I spoke to Officer Parker and the "Happy Song" started to play
3) I went to the sheet music and selected "Secret Song", "Angry Song", "Sad Song" in that order with about 5-ish seconds in between
4) I selected "Happy Song" and let it play to finish
5) I spoke with Trixie after she stepped off the stage and chose conversations about why she's with Tannen and something about her having a great voice
6) I selected "Secret Song" and achievement popped

So as you can see, I'm not sure how long each song requires to be "fully" played and I don't think I necessarily got that done. If you're having trouble with this achievement, I'd recommend selecting some of the songs over again and see what happens. I noticed Cue Ball might have some long solo piano bits while Trixie steps off the stage and that could indicate the completion of the song for this achievement...

Good luck!
