To start it you must first create a team
Then start a new game in road to backbreaker.
From here you will play a 8 team season, if you win enough games to finish in the top two you will be promoted to the next league.
This is a 16 team season, and again, if you finish in the top two you can be promoted to the 32 team league.
Now in this league if you win the season, (finish top), you have the opportunity to play the backbreaker all star team. Win here and FINALLY the chiev pops.
Obviously due to the length of this achievement 1 minute quarters and arcade game mode is advised. Also don't forget to buy free agents with the credits you earn from winning games. Buying gold stars players gets the best deal for your money so its probably best to save for them instead of buying lots of weaker players along the way.

You will need to take your created team through an 8 team, 16 team, and 32 team seasons and you will get this trophy. As you go through, make sure to draft free agents to make your team stronger.

This is by far the most time consuming achievement in the game. Before you start this mode you will have to create a team, see "Something from Nothing" for more detail.
Once that is completed select Leagues from the main menu and select Road to Backbreaker. Select new and choose your created team. Put 1 minute qrts and Arcade mode. Save your game and start your journey to the top.
IMPORTANT: You must win almost or every gae you play. You will need to place at least second play to proceed to the next season.
As you continue to win games start signing free agents. Only sign gold star players to get more bang for the buck. I suggest building defensively first but balancing offense and defense will also work fine.
Road to Backbreaker consists of a 8,16, and 32 team season all in one. On the last season make sure you place first so you can face the Back breaker all stars. Once you beat them to finish Road to Backbreaker and unlock the achievement.
