If you want to get this out of the way you can go for it on your first 4th down. However, I am sure at some point in time during a game you will end up going for it. Once you complete the first down the trophy is yours.

This is another achievement that is easily obtainable on your first game. While on offense keep picking running plays. Keep gaining yards until you are close to a first down, do not go past the yellow line. Instead keep getting tackled until you are on your 4th down.
The game will automatically pick a field goal or punt play. Press 
to go back to the play selection screen and choose a long passing play. Now simply throw the ball to a player and get passed the yellow line for a first down.
