BAJA Edge of Control

From the main menu select Race->Free Ride->Painted Desert then pick a Trophy Truck and proceed to the event. You'll start next to a tarmac road so floor it and drive along the road until the achievement pops. Provided you don't crash you should be able to reach 140mph.
