How to unlock the Drowning in Drops achievement in BALAN WONDERWORLD - Definitive Guide

Pops after you complete an act by touching the weird fractal tree thingy at the end with 1000 or more drops(any color). I found the best farm location to be Chapter 2 Act 3. Lots of enemies that drop large drops. You unlock the act 3's by beating the final boss for the first time, which you get to by beating all 12 bosses in the 12 chapters. Obviously, you'll want to switch to hard mode (maroon enemies) by killing around 30 without taking a hit. From there just farm up yellow crystals by killing enemies and waiting for them to respawn. Chapter 6 act 2 is also a fine spot for racking up kills, as detailed in my other guides. Get 1k total gems and then clear the stage.

This trophy sounds daunting but is actually quite simple. However, you likely won't earn it until chapters 9 - 12. The trick to getting this trophy is doing the Balan's Bouts. Receiving an EXCELLENT rating on a Balan's Bout doubles all the number of drops you found before entering it. Since chapters 9 - 12 contain 3 Balan's Bouts, that is 3 chances to double your obtained drops which can easily bring the count over a thousand if you are making sure to collect them throughout the level. Once you have obtained a total of over a thousand drops (this can be between yellow, pink, red, and blue), go ahead and finish the level or exit to the Isle of Tims to unlock this trophy.
