How to unlock the Tiny Hands achievement in Balatro - Definitive Guide

First of all, it's absolutely best to go for this achievement on the Abandoned Deck, which has no face cards. It starts with only 40 cards instead of the normal 52, meaning you'll need to destroy only 20 to get the achievement. The Abandoned Deck can be unlocked by winning a run with the Green Deck.

Here are some of the ways you can remove cards from your deck

  1. Hieroglyph voucher - This will give you more time to remove cards from your deck before the blinds become too big. It also takes away a hand, but I still think it's worth getting if you see it. I did use this voucher on my attempt.
  2. Trading Card joker - This joker will let you remove a card from your deck on every round. It's mostly useful if you get it early on. For a while I was resetting my run after not getting this joker in the 1st ante. Eventually I gave up doing that and was able to get the achievement without Trading Card.
  3. Immolate spectral card - This will let you destroy 5 cards in your deck. Always buy spectral packs to try to get this. I got it twice on my successful run.
  4. Hanged Man tarot card - This lets you destroy 2 cards. Buy a lot of arcane packs to try to get this. It can be coupled with the Fool tarot card to get it multiple times. I ended up using this card 4 times.
  5. Justice tarot card - While not quite as effective as the Hanged Man, this will give you 1 glass card, which has a 1/4 chance of breaking when you use it. Also it was helpful for getting enough score to beat the blinds. I broke 2 glass cards on my successful attempt.
Some other notes:

Try to not skip blinds. You want to see as many shops as possible to buy arcane packs (or have as many rounds with trading card as you can.) I only skipped blinds for mega arcane packs and spectral packs.

Be careful not to run out of cards. It can happen pretty easily with a deck this small. However, having a small deck makes predicting what cards you'll get next much easier. Make sure to look at what's left in your deck when you're choosing what to discard.

I got this achievement when a glass card broke on the Boss Blind for the 7th Ante (after taking the hieroglyph joker earlier on). The jokers I used were Ride the Bus, Raised Fist, Ceremonial Dagger, and Ramen.

I bought so many arcane packs trying to get Hanged Man that I was able to make my entire deck one suit lol. After that it became pretty easy to just play flushes.

Good luck!! :)

If you're just playing normally and randomly get Perkeo (a legendary Joker), you might want to try for this, even if you're not playing the Abandoned Deck. It can guarantee a constant supply of Hanged Man cards.

I hate this achievement as well as the glass card one. Even with Perkeo and Oops All Sixes I couldn't get them

Finally got it. I got this on the same run as Shattered. By far the worst thing I've had to do in this game so far.
Good guide, here's my two cents.
Don't rely on spectrals too much.
Even with Seance I hit consistent Straight Flushes and didn't get Immolate once.
Hanged Man is where it's at.
If you can score a Perkeo, it's going to help your run tremendously but it's still not a lock as you have to clear the Antes anyway.
Had to use Hieroglyph (probably would have failed if I hadn't, dunno)
My best piece of advice though is this:
Don't try to do this with Shattered.
If it happens cool but try and stay focused on one thing at a time.

Got it first try on Abandoned deck. First step is getting good economy (1 gold generating joker + $5 interest on every hand) with shop discount and tarot shop vouchers. This will allow you to reroll the shop for Temperance and Hermit (for basically infinite money) and Hanged Man, Justice, Fool, and Death otherwise. I was able to somewhat quickly convert the deck to diamonds and play for flushes as well. I eliminated 5 via immolate, about 10 via Hanged Man/Fool, and another 10 glass cards using Justice/Death, to get a final deck of 15. The majority of my downsizing (10+ cards) was done in Ante 8 and 9. If you're desperate and know you'll fail the next blind, don't be afraid to go all in and sell all your jokers for an extra bump of cash to see what you can get. Glass cards can also pair with the dice joker in order to increase chances to break.
