If anyone is struggling with the fight like I did, I used Shadowhart to cast Silence on Myrkul, which stopped him from absorbing the Necromites. Also focused on the Mindflayer first because it was taking out most of my health at once.

One tip - you can sneak a single character in using invisibility/sneak right up to Aylin before the fight starts. Then trigger the cut scene with the rest of the party as normal. If you use a high initiative character you can release Aylin immediately and start damaging Thorn right away. Saves 2 turns of wasted movement.
