How to unlock the Leave No One Behind achievement in Baldur's Gate 3 - Definitive Guide

This achievement is one of the hardest to get right during your playthrough. Here is a rough list of tieflings and where to find them throughout the game. The bottom line is you need to make sure every tiefling in the game survives one way or another. Avoid going for this during your Dark Urge playthrough.

Emerald Grove: Act 1
  • Don’t kill Lae’zel’s captors.
  • Heal the tiefling being attacked by the bugbear.
  • Save the tiefling child from the snake in the druid grove.
  • Save the tiefling child from the harpies on the east coast.
  • Avoid bringing the battle with the goblins to the Emerald Grove.
  • Don’t let any tieflings die in combat.
  • Heal the tiefling in the storage room.
  • Roland’s adventurer group should stay to ensure the others survive to Act 2.
Last Light Inn: Act 2
  • Keep Isobel and the tieflings alive during the fight at the Last Light Inn.
  • Save the tieflings in Moonrise Towers Prison before finding the Nightsong.
  • Save Roland when he leaves to find his siblings.
  • Save Arabella and invite her to your camp. Then locate her parents’ bodies and follow Withers’ advice.
  • Save Zevlor from under Moonrise Towers in the Mind Flayer Colony.
Baldur’s Gate: Act 3
  • Meet the tieflings in the refugee camp.
  • Meet Alfira and Lakrissa in tavern.
  • Kill Lorrokaen and keep Roland alive during the fight.
  • Steal Mol’s contract from Raphael.

Small addition for act 3; don't summon in Zevlor for your army during the finale. If he dies at any point after you call him in it voids the achievement.

Do I have to avoid the battle coming to the grove? Or can I just make sure everyone survives?

I just finished the game and got the achievement even though the Bugbear Assassin killed Nadira in the Druid Grove in Act 1, so technically you don't need to save every single Tiefling.

Does the tiefling at the gate lever count? I've never been able to get him through the intro combat at the grove

I didn’t know this was an achievement but it popped for me when the credits rolled. I definitely missed Zevlor in Moonrise so maybe he doesn’t count.

I confirm that it is not necessary to heal the thiefling in the warehouse, I also add that for Mol's contract it is enough to kill Raphael

Seems to have loose requirements, I know for sure that the harpy tiefling died, yet this still popped.

I can confirm the above guide works. If you never talk to Isobel at Last Light Inn (and grab a moonlantern from the Harper ambush) you can avoid the chance to lose any tieflings in the attack there. Otherwise this all works!

Great guide, thanks.

I didn't summon Zevlor in the final fight because I wasn't sure if it would mess things up if he died

It should be noted that you must save Roland before visiting Moonrise Towers!

Edit:*Also, can confirm the harpy encounter can be skipped (I did not trigger it at all and got the achievement).

Good call! Zevlor died during the final fight when I first finished the game. Now I replayed for a different ending without summoning any allies and the achievement unlocked. Also I can confirm that saving the child from the harpies wasn't required for me.

Got this and I don't think every tiefling was saved in my playthrough.

I think I had killed Lae'zel's captors back in Act 1 and still got the achievement to unlock.

There is one tiefling during the defend the grove mission that always will jump down landing prone and then getting killed, I haven't been able to stop it, does that one count for the achievement?

I am assuming that tiefling harpers in act 2 don't count towards this?

I did all of this except heal the tiefling with the broken leg, and Cerys died during the attack on the inn and it didn't pop for me. I thought Cerys might not matter as she only showed up in Act 2, but apparently she does.

During my Honor playthrough, I skipped the fight at the Last Light Inn. As a result, Mol was never taken and she didn't appear to have made a pact with Raphael. As a result, when I saw her in Act 3, her eye was still bandaged and more importantly her contract was nowhere to be found in the House of Hope. She is still considered saved, so I got the achievement and avoided having to run the House of Hope gauntlet on Honor mode. Hope this helps!

I've been told you can bring the fight to the grove. Just make sure you help everyone first and then all survive.

In the 1st act:
1. We need to convince Rolan to go with the refugees.
2. Don't let the Arch kill the goblin Sazz. (see achievement "She Cannot be Changed" 1 Act)
3. Save Mircon from the harpies.
4. Save Arabella (a Tiefling girl who was caught stealing)
5. After entering the grove, turn right, climb the mountain, and see how the goblin attacks Nadira, save her.
All this is done before you defend the emerald grove from the Minthara
6. All Tieflings are in the emerald grove, no one can be allowed to die

In the 2nd act
1. In the tavern "the last light" to learn from Tiefling Rolan that some Tieflings were caught and taken to prison, to rescue all Tieflings from prison
P.S.: Don't forget to walk around the tavern after the rescue and talk to the rescued Tieflings.
2. In the tavern "Last Light" do not let Isobel be kidnapped, otherwise everyone who was inside will die.
3. After the battle, find out from the children that Mol was kidnapped. (We will meet with the Pier in the 3rd act)
4. help Arabella find her parents (Arabella will be near the entrance to the "House of Healing" And the parents are inside)
5. Save Rolan, after our conversation he will go himself to save his friends, we will meet him near the river, below the central bridge that leads to the "Customs"
All this must be done before we go to look for the "Song of the Night"
6. After the battle with Keterik Torm, he will go after him, find the Tiefling Zevlor there and Save him, he will be closed in one of the capsules

In the 3rd act
1. To complete the quest "Save the Tieflings", we go and talk to Danis\Bexom, who is in a refugee camp.
2. If you decide not to give Lorroacan the Song of the Night, you must not allow Rolan to be killed.
3. Mot is in the Thieves Guild.

Achievement is given after completing the game.

Just a heads up, it should also be noted if you summon Zevlors Hellriders into the final battle you can possibly miss this achievement. The summon will call for 3 of them. One of them is Zevlor, the other 2 may be unnamed I dont remember. I my first attempt I lost Zevlor and another one but the cheevo didnt pop afterwards. I reloaded and in my second attempt I did not summon them at all and the cheevo did pop.

Act 1
-One must be rescued from a hobgoblin assassin in a druid grove.
-Don't let the evil druidess kill the child Arabella.
-Save the kid from the harpies on the beach.
-Talk another one out of killing a gobliness in the prison.
Act 2
-Don't let any Tiefling die during Marcus and the flying creatures' raid. And prevent him from kidnapping Isobel.
-Take quests to rescue tieflings who have been taken, including the petty thief Mol.
-Save Rolan at the bottom of the map at the river before the place where you can jump into the Towers.
-Find Arabella near the House of Healing and fulfill her quest. Her parents seem to be unsalvageable.
-Save all the Tieflings from the Towers prison BEFORE you go to fulfill the quest about Nightsong.
-Save Zevlor in the Illithid colony.
3 act.
-The thief's children will be in the refugee camp.
-Bard Alfira and Lacrissa at the Elven Song tavern (Elfsong).
-Rolan at his master archmage in the tower. Joins in battle with the master if you don't give him Night Song.
-Mot is in the thieves' guild (at least if she is dissuaded from accepting the devil's offer in the second act).

I confirm what is said in the first tip at the very end.

If you summon tiefling allies in the final battle and one of them dies during it, the trophy will not drop. Therefore, it is better not to call the Zevron Squad, for example.

It is also worth picking up the Maul contract from the House of Hope Vault from Raphael. And then give it to Mol in the Guild.

Out of all my tieflings, it seems like one archer died during the siege of the lunar towers. I went through this until the end and the trophy fell out.

In the Emerald Grove, Roland must be convinced to stay in the camp (through the die)!

There was no time to save Nadira; the goblin killed her off-screen. I didn't even understand what was happening. I saved the rest without any difficulties, the trophy fell.

Why does the arch die when attacking the goblin camp?
He didn’t let Saaz kill her. I tried to keep him alive and tried to kill him with my own hands. There is a living creature in the druid camp. When attacking Mintara and the other leaders, the corpse of an arch appears near the goblin camp. Who is killing her and how to avoid it?

upd. The achievement came out despite the dead Arch.

I'll add that a HUGELY MISSED moment: Roland's rescue in Act 2
After the attack on the tavern, he goes in search of his own and at the entrance to Reitvin, with a high probability, dies.
Near the river at the edge of the map he is attacked by 2 shadows and the trigger area is very large. You can initiate an enemy attack on Roland without even noticing it, then when you arrive at this place he will already be dead. Plus, the shadows continue to hit him while you are still running up to the place of aggro and there is a very high probability that he will die in a couple of hits even before the encounter begins.

Therefore, I recommend going to save him immediately after the attack on the tavern, making a save first. We jump to the required place/make a teleport in the shortest possible way and immediately cast something on Roland, invisibility, healing, etc. I had 17 HP with the shadow trigger, I was able to save after a bunch of reloads, randomizing good initiative/aggro to myself.

Hint for those who encountered a hostile Roland
In order to save Roland in the second act, you need to go the following way

It's better to use a misty step at the end
Our task is to NOT let the shadows damage Roland. If they hit him, he will become hostile. If you go across the bridge on the left, you won't have time to get there. To save him, you need to quickly rush into the fight and prevent the shadows from attacking him. Otherwise he is dead or hostile
Also in the Steam achievement it is written that it can be turned into a sheep and cause non-lethal damage. Then he will cease to be hostile. This method does not work on the current version.
After the fight there should be a dialogue with him. If this dialogue does not happen, then the quest cannot be completed and Rolan is considered dead.

aggressive Rolan after an attack with shadows - this was probably a bug that has already been fixed.
Now, even if he takes damage, you can talk to him and after that he returns to the tavern.
