How to unlock the Just a Nibble achievement in Baldur's Gate 3 - Definitive Guide

Easy to unlock. Just go to camp and long rest and a cutscene should start where Astarion will sneak up on you and ask to drink some of your blood. Go through the dialogue allowing him to, and done.

It’s worth noting that you'll get a negative effect on your character by doing this (-1 on certain rolls) until your next long rest.

Shadowheart’s Lessor Restoration ability can remove the negative effect.

I didn't recruit Astarion until pretty late into the first area, and he just never had the thing where he would bite me. He shared all about his vampire nature right away, and no matter how many times I long rested without any other events triggering, he never bit me. When I loaded an old save at the beginning of the crash, and got him immediately, it only took 3 long rests to get the scene.

Very simple achievement to unlock. Just go to camp to get a long rest and a cutscene will start where Astarion will sneak up on you and ask to drink your blood. Accept and the achievement will unlock. This happened to me on my third long rest.

Just remember that you'll get negative effects on your character (-1 on certain rolls) until you get your next long rest.

Astarion stands in the first location near the fallen ship. During the first long rest he will try to bite you - you must agree

Astarion may also ask you to bite you during an overnight stay at the camp. If you let it bite to the end, the character will die.
