How to unlock the Face to Face achievement in Band Hero - Definitive Guide

You can do this with a guest account. Just sign in another account, connect 2 instruments of the same kind, and play a Pro Face-Off match. Select to find opponents on live. If no one comes in, the game will start anyway after about 20 seconds. After the song wait the timer on the statistics screen to run out and then select to quit. Search for opponents and repeat. Do this until you get the achievement. It´s not important if you do this alone or if someone plays on the other instrument. Note: play on the same difficulty, stay on the same instrument, and play another song every other time.

Thanks for posting this, and a big thumbs down to the 2 people who gave you a thumbs down. I just did 25 (different) songs on Beginner Vocals Pro Face off in one sitting because I had already played over 50 songs online trying to get this, and your solution worked great.

The best and fastest solution. Easy with two headsets.
Just want to say that there is this free-dlc-song called "Lemon Frosting" by Bunny Knutson. It's the shortest song playin only 2:04.

As a note, you do not have to play a different song each time. I tested this by picking Lemon Frosting in my first and second pro face offs, and then a different song each time. I got it with 24 unique songs over 25 matches.

Like, whoa! This like, whoa! totally works. But just like the similar achievement in GH5, it took me way more than 25 songs. Thanks for the solution.

Do the stats for games played track anywhere so I know how many I've done?

Do you have to quit? I just did 15 songs last night but stayed in a lobby together. Won't that work? :(

I recommend doing all 25 in a row, and use either a different song or difficulty setting each time. You will see the saving indicator, so that seems to help.

I started with 5 games and then switched game types to knock out the Till Death Do Us Part achievement - when I came back to resume it took me to 30 total games before it popped. I was just about to give up - a very grindy achievement (even with the volume muted).

This is glitches, I spent all afternoon today with over 50 matches and it didn't pop for me. I switched songs and difficulties without effect. This sucks so bad.

Following this exactly worked for me.

One tip to speed things up slightly is to double select the song. The counter will drop from 13 seconds to 5, thus saving 8 seconds in the cycle. Not huge but adds up over 25 songs. (Both times you select with the same controller, NOT one per two different controllers.)

Ok, I got it now. When I tried it before for over 40 matches without success I used a mic and a headset for it. Now, I borrowed another real mic from a friend because I thought that maybe having a mic and a headset doesn't work. So, I set up two mics and the achievement popped after 3 matches. Just weird.

I tried this last night with a friend off here. We took it in turns to host and quit alternately. It popped for him after roughly an hour yet after 2 and a hlaf hours it still hadn't popped for me. Any ideas guys? Gonna rip my frickin hair out soon!

Does it work if both mics are on Beginner, or does it have to be a higher difficulty?

Does not matter which difficulty.

I took the advice of those who commented before me and completed all 25 matches without turning off my xbox or returning to the xbox dashboard. I alternated playing the two shortest songs in my library. I also changed difficulty after each round. So I was alternating between: La Marseillaise Hard Guitar vs Hard Guitar and Lemon Frosting Expert Guitar vs Expert Guitar. popped in the stats screen after my 25th match.

Did this with 25 different songs on the same difficulty in 1 sitting with a guest account. No problems.

This worked for me just fine.

2 accounts. Both on medium guitar. I started by alternating songs but ended up just using the shortest song about 20 times in a row.

Followed the guide exactly and worked fine for me. I did swap between 2 songs, alternating however.

Thanks for the solution. I just unlocked it by playing "Lemon Frosting" 25 times in a row in a single session. Had to turn the volume down and play other music over the top of it, as that song was doing my head in. It's the shortest song at 2min 4 sec. I played with 2 guitars both on hard, and didn't change the difficulty or songs. I just played a few notes of the intro and waited for the song to finish each time, but I made sure that my main profile had more points than the guest account and played a couple of notes on the guest account to register it. I'm not sure if it made a difference, but I didn't want to risk it.

Alternatively, you can boost with a friend and take turns quitting out of the matches because the person who stays in the game is awarded a win. So, you and your boosting partner can take turns quitting out of matches for eachother. Just remember that the person quitting doesn't get credit for having played the match so instead of playing 25 games you will have to do 50. But overall this should go faster because you do not have to wait for the song to finish. Also if memory recalls host shouldn't quit.

I think you have to alternate hosts aswell. When you're "quiting" as a host, it doesn't seem like you're actually quiting but just bringing your game party back to lobby.

find a friend online and then have him play pro faceoff with you and then just sit through the 25 rounds, its easier to play the fastest song which is Like Whoa by Aly and AJ and just flip the channel and watch something else and then check back to choose the song again and after playing the 25 rounds you get this one. if none of u do anything then the score will always be tied with 5 points awarded to both players so to keep track just make sure the final score is at 125 (5 x 25 = 125) and ull get it

Just a wee footnote to all the above, I had played at least 50 pro face offs wae no trophy, I then changed the difficulty after every song to make the game save and after two shots she popped up. Its worth a shot if like me you were sick to death playing the thing!

I think OlsAbsss x is correct. I played a number of matches over Xbox LIVE with a friend and we continued to play (with me quitting out) until he got the achievement. I was only able to play 4 or 5 matches before I had to leave. Later that same night, I decided to try OlsAbsss x's method using two controllers. I played enough matches to have played 25 Pro Faceoff matches total. I didn't get the achievement. I kept playing until I had completed 25 matches and the achievement popped for my alternate account, and then it popped for my main account.

I think it's possible to be one of two things, either you have to play all 25 in one session, or all 25 have to be done using the same arrangement. Personally, I would do them all in one session as OlsAbsss x suggests since I know that absolutely works.

Go to COMPETITIVE and choose Pro-Face Off. Play only one song and that will equal one match. Do not choose another song. A short song is "Like Whoa" by Aly&AJ. You don't even have to play since you can win or lose. This can easily be boosted.

UNOBTAINABLE, DUE TO SERVER CLOSURE

You will need an online connection for this trophy but you do not need to play with people online. If you have two of the same instruments, simply connect them to your Playstation 3, search for online players and select Pro Face-off mode. After a few seconds it will end the search and still allow you to select a song. Pick a short song, exit after the end of the song and repeat this step twenty-four more times for a quick trophy.

To see if you know what you are doing, try this on "Till Death Do Us Part" and see if you get that trophy using this method to avoid wasting time doing it wrongly.

The achievement is glitchy and best done in one sitting.
You can do this using a guest account, the main thing is that it and the main profile have the same tools (the easiest way is to use a headset and microphone).
Turn on Pro Face-Off match. Click search for players by live, if you don’t find anyone, the game will start in about 20 seconds. After the song ends, wait for the timer on the stats screen and then exit. Next, repeat the search process and so on 25 times. You can choose the shortest song to make it faster.
