The "hit bonus types" it refers to are "Critical Hit" and "Weak Hit".
While working through the main story line missions you will eventually get enough of each bonus type.
Some may get this achievement earlier than others. My wife got this after the 3rd mission, I didn't get it until mission 11 (stupid weak hits lol).
One thing to note: it appears these must be obtained within the main story missions only. I got several of each type in multiplayer matches but none counted towards the achievement.
