How to unlock the Million Counter achievement in Bangai-O HD Missile Fury - Definitive Guide

This is cumulative and I would be VERY impressed if anyone could finish normal fury mode without getting this achievement. You could in principle sit on early levels (level 1 would be a good choice) and keep getting big counters, but I wouldn't bother.

Anyone know if this is glitched? Im done with Fury and nearly done with the additional 37 normal levels and Im starting to get concerned its glitched on me =/

it's such a big # it's probably not glitched... but who knows. i'll see if i get it soon

I got 5 levels left and still don´t have this one! So we will see!

At level 44 now and still nothing! I am so skilled! lol

Got it after failing level 44 many, many times!

Is it possible that only firing MISSILES counts towards this achievement? Which is to say that using, for example, the Bounce (my favorite weapon) counter attack wouldn't work, since it fires bouncy balls and not missiles.
