to add to the above

There are two endings this one is for Restoration.

once you choose one ending dont go to new Game Plus, instead go to Continue and you get to replay the last level and choose the different ending

After you've restored the Bastion completely, you'll have to choose whether you want to restore the old world or stay. Choose the first one to restore the old world. This will only net you this achievement. You won't get The Beginning (Stay and embrace the new world). But since you need a second playthrough for Calamity Kid (Beating New Game +), just pick one choice the first time and the other one the second time around.

At the end of the game, you will be tasked in choosing between two different options in how you want to proceed with the Bastion. To unlock this trophy, follow Ruck's advice and choose: Restoration

Remember to make the opposite choice in your NG+ to unlock "The Beginning" if you picked this option on your first playthrough.
