How to unlock the Arkham Analyst achievement in Batman: Arkham Asylum - Definitive Guide

There is a total of 240 items so in order to get this you need to collect 12 of the Riddlers' Items. (Note: Individual Jokers Teeth do not count as an item, 5 teeth count as one item.)

Is this pickup the riddler trophies or are there 240 actual riddles to solve or is it a combo of the two?

There are several different things that count as a riddle: trophies, chronicles, teeth and riddle solutions. Click on the link for all the information.

Press back button and go in Riddler challenges to see what you are missing.

Very easy achievement to get, you only need to solve 12 riddles. By the time you leave intensive treatment you should be close to it and there are pplenty to get once your onto Arkham East.

As you start out you will find yourself picking up trophies and audio recordings while solving the riddles. This achievement unlocks fairly soon as it doesn't require you to collect many of these riddles. You will unlock most of the achievements towards Crack The E Nigma without really trying as you will want to pick these items up to build XP.
