How to unlock the Catch! achievement in Batman: Arkham Asylum - Definitive Guide

A simple one to get. All you have to do is purchase the "Remote Control Batarang" from the Waynetech upgrade screen. Once you have it go to any open area, throw the special Batarang, then guide it back to Batman for the achievement.

I did it at the waters edge near the Arkham Mansion, plenty of remove to manoeuvre the Batarang there.

Catch! Achievement.
You'll need to catch your own Batarang for the Catch! Achievement. To do so, head outside of a building and, with the Remote Controlled Batarang upgrade, toss your Batarang, Control it so it returns to Batman in a wide arch to satisfy the Achievement requirement.

You firstly need to have earned enough points for an upgrade and then have purchased the 'Remote Controlled Batarang' via the waynetech upgrades section.

Once you have purchased the 'Remote Controlled Batarang' select it via the weapons menu (d-pad selection) on the Bottom Left area. Then hold cn_LT to aim your batarang and aim at an open space and use cn_RT to fire.

Once in the air you will be controlling the Batarang in first person view, use the cn_LS to move the batarang left and right and the cn_RS to lower/higher the Batarang, control the Batarang back at Batman and he will automatically catch it. Achievement unlocked!

In order to earn the trophy that's called "Catch!", you'll need to catch your own Batarang.

First off, you're going to need the Remote Control Batarang. Earn enough experience points to get a level and unlock the RCB as an upgrade.

Once that's done, if you are in an area free of enemies, make sure you're an open space.

Next, have the RCB equipped and throw it. Make sure it is far away from you before maneuvering it around and making it swing towards your direction. If you have it pointed back to Batman, chances are that Batman will catch it. If he does so successfully, the trophy will unlock.

I've provided a video solution from InfraRedPS. All credit goes to him for playing to get this trophy, then uploading the video to show how it's done.

Have fun and good luck!

You need to purchase the Remote Control Batarang before you can get this.

Then, find an open area, throw it, then direct it back to B-man.

Before you can attempt this achievement you need to unlock the Remote Controlled Batarang upgrade. Keep earning XP and you should be prompted to upgrade soon enough. Press the to enter the upgrade menu when prompted and scroll through until you find the upgrade.

Once you have the Batarang head to an open area and throw the Batarang, use the to fly around the open space and back towards Batman.

Note: You can only preform this move and earn this trophy after you have acquired the Remote Control Batarang Upgrade.

This is most easily done outdoors on the grounds of either Arkham East, West or North. Simply select your remote control Batarang with the directional pad, and then throw it. While it is in flight you can control it. Fly it back to hit Batman, and instead of it hitting him, he will catch it and reward you with the trophy.

The simplest achievement is just throw a controlled batarang anywhere and point it at Batman and eventually achieve yours!

Just as soon as you upgrade the controllable betarang, throw it and point it towards the batman: he will catch it himself.
