How to unlock the Storyteller achievement in Batman Arkham City - Definitive Guide

This achievement requires you to talk to Calendar Man on certain dates. You can find Calendar Man in the basement of the court house (It's in the back of the building where you rescue Cat Woman in the beginning of the game).

The dates (for the year 2012) are:

January 1
February 14
March 17
April 1
May 13 - (2013 = May 12)
June 17 - (2013 = June 16)
July 4
August 16 - (2013 = no idea if the date is the same, Feast of St. Roch)
September 3 - (2013 = September 2)
October 31
November 22 - (2013 = November 28)
December 25

You will have to wait for these dates, or go offline and set the date of your xbox manually (See Lainey80's comment for detailed description). Everytime you talked with him on a right date, the appropriate month will be marked on the calendar next to the cell.

- It appears that sometimes different dates are needed due to the year settings of the console, just check the calendar after you did a date that is the same every year (e.g. X-mas day: December 25) and all the other dates that are needed should be marked on the calendar (Credits go to stevivor and Shinwasha for finding this out) -

If you want a time stamp but don't want to wait a year just load up every holiday except for the upcoming one. Then on that holiday play your game online and you'll unlock the achievement with a time stamp.

Exactly what I did. Just go to the back of the court house, walk down and talk to calendar man, exit the court house and let the game auto save then go to system settings, date and time, change to the relevant date and rinse and repeat for each date. You must be offline for this, in which case if your wired jsut remove the ethernet cable, if your wireless go to network settings and delete the wireless connection your on.

My Australian copy of the game appears to have different dates. Those being:

- May 8
- June 19
- September 5

Do what the solution and the first poster say -- and check the calendar. If your game save registered the date/chat, it'll be scribbled out on the calendar. Yay!

Also, you don't have to wait for Calendar Man to finish talking before you leave the Courtroom -- but it's damn fun if you do!

I have the Australian Pal copy of the game but i'm playing on a UK account and the dates are the same as the solution, so its prolly the account region and not the game!

@Shinwasha, you're completely right. The first time I made a list so I didn't have to check the calendar anymore and when I went back some of the dates had changed. It appears that I mixed 2012 and 2011. (solution edited)

If you want a date-stamped achievement, couldn't you advance your calendar offline to get 11 dates, and then visit him on the closest actual holiday while online, in this case Oct 31 Halloween?

Basically, get the other 11 dates offline, then the last one online.

So if you go offline and set the date manually, which year do you set it too to get this achievement?

2011 or 2012?

Or is it shown on the calander which year along with the dates needed?

just a heads up, people actually get reset for tampering with the clock to obtain an achievement. you can get banned for violations of the Terms of Use. ... Console tampering: purposely changing clock to obtain an achievement. it has happened to a few people, 1 guy with a 200+ gs. so they care not for this. but seeing how so many people have done this for this game so u should be ok. i will be getting this achievement the proper way. far more impressive having this achiev time stamped than offline.

@drabik in 2011 yes, in 2012 22nd. (Dates listed are for 2012, because it's to confusing to state 2011 and 2012 dates at the same time. I just can't list all the dates till the and of time and some holidays are on a different date every year, too bad)

I'm not connected by a cable, my box is set up by wireless, and with the way my entertainment center is put together, taking the wireless adapter out and putting it back in is a serious pain in the ass. I was hoping, with how easy people made it sound, there was a way to do it without changing hardware.

I hate how if your using the Slim, you can't just disconnect or pull out the router, you have to have no internet for the duration of the achievement, as everytime you dashboard you reconnect. This is a pain in the arse if you have other people in the house who need the internet. Grr. Thumbs up though.

One thing I'm upset at: For St. Patrick's Day, Calendar Man talks about killing his henchman for one of them ratting on him to batman. He uses green snake venom from a black mamba because it blends with the color of green beer. There's a problem, venom needs to be injected. Poison's are what is ingested to kill; snake's are NOT poisonous, they are venomous. So drinking snake venom would not do anything, you can naturally break it down in your digestive system. It might make you feel a little ill or taste bad or give you the runs based on the particular type, but it wouldn't kill you.

The game is ruined for me.

By TexasHONZ on 31 Dec 2011 05:04
@texasHONZ

Actually, drinking venom will most likely kill you. Venom works by getting into your bloodstream. Do you know how many little cuts and open wounds there are in your mouth? Plenty. All it takes is for the venom to touch your tongue, oral cavity or cheeks and you're dead.
0
0
By T IR E L O N on 31 Dec 2011 13:36
Maybe, but you'd actually have to have an open sore or cut, which most people do not have. Snake venom is a neuro-toxin that is made of proteins. Proteins that can be broken down in the stomach.

There's a very slim chance it could kill you in the manner you speak of, but it wouldn't kill a group of henchman like Calendar Man claims.

I think perhaps you're over-reacting if a small potential inaccuracy to something that's considered more of an easter egg ruined the game for you TexasHONZ. It is after all a work of complete fiction made by human beings who make mistakes. The tiny little mishap you noticed is far from the first preposterous thing in this game or about Batman and all of the characters within. He is after all a "super hero", these things aren't intended to be documentaries. That said, I did learn something about venom. :)

You don't have to be on the same dates as mentioned to mark a date off your calendar. For example it's July right now but when I went to see the Calendar man yesterday, he spoke to me about August (the next date on the list).

I'll need to do the rest of the months except September (the next month I've not yet unlocked) and wait for the date to actually pass August 16th.

Painful achievement :P

Just pointing out, if you have the Catwoman DLC and you're currently Catwoman, you can't get calendar man's story until you finish her episode. When you are Batman again, then go see Julian Day. He does say something to Selina, but not his holiday story.

To anyone wondering about the year to set your clock to, it only matters for dates like Thanksgiving, Mothers Day, Fathers Day and Labor Day, because the date they come up on always changes because they're set to a specific DAY of the week

For example: Mothers day is always 2nd Sunday in May, in the US, and because of that the date changes with the year. Where as Christmas says the same December 25th DATE every year.

This means you could probably set the year to 2015 and still get the achievement as long as you happened to go talk to him on the right days during it.

0
By DauntingAbyss on 30 Oct 2011 23:32
KillerGreenBud3: the dates are related to certain events like mother's day, X-mas etc. So you have to talk to him on the events, because some events are on a different date every year.

To all those stating they're going to do it online and get a time stamp "legitimately". I hope you realize that the only legitimate way you could get this is by waiting until September 3rd 2012 as the game was release in October 2011... Just thought I'd point out the flaw in your logik. WHY WAIT!

You can obtain this with the achievement Timestamp without talking to the calendar man on a specific day. I have just tested this and it worked for me unlocking the achievement.

I visited the calendar man on every day required by going offline and changing the date. Then on the last date I needed, I changed the date whilst offline went back to the calendar man, and as soon as I pressed cn_A I pushed the cn_guide guide button and signed in to Xbox live. When I closed the guide and the game continued, the achievement popped about 2 seconds later with the timestamp. :) Don't believe me? Check when I unlocked the achievement and you'll see it wasn't on a holiday. Hope this helps.

*UPDATED FOR 2020*
The "Storyteller" Achievement requires you to speak to Calander Man on each famous Holiday of every month so if you dont wanna wait a year I would suggest the following:

In the Court House where you save Catwoman from Two-Face there is a door to the left, enter in and on the right as you enter you will see a set of stair leading to the Basement where you will see a calander with 12 dates circled these are the dates your have to speak with Calander Man...go back up the stairs and continue to the right you will find a door leading outside this is counted as a saving point/ checkpoint allowing you to save your progess everytime you exit.

Head to the Dashboard/ System Settings/ Console Settings/ Clock/ Date & Time (Note: Make sure you are disconnected from Xbox Live so you can change the date allowing you to sign on to your Gamertag while being able to change your date keeping it from automatically setting itself.)

Head into the game, the save point should be outside the Court House side door. Head down stairs and speak to Calander Man where he will spill his horror stories of each murderous date. Repeat these steps to obtain the achievement.

January 1/ New Years Day
February 14/ Valentine's Day
March 17/ St. Patrick's Day
April 1/ April Fools Day
May 10/ Mother's Day
June 21/ Father's Day
July 4/ Fourth of July
August 16/ St. Roch's Day
September 7/ Labor Day
October 31/ Halloween
November 26/ Thanksgiving
December 25/ Christmas

Note: If your wondering what days you have done or need to remember which days the calander hanging next to his cell will cross out the months you have talked to him on the right dates. Also the dates I have posted will be circled on the calander for easy reference. (The calander is also a part of one of the Riddler's Riddles)

You can obtain this with the achievement Timestamp without talking to the calendar man on a specific day. I have just tested this and it worked for me unlocking the achievement.

Does the year or order matter at all? If not then you could start with November 24 2010 and work forward untill September 5th 2011. Then just wait untill next week on Halloween and get your time stamp.

I highly doubt people are getting banned for this. One reason being, that this is only changing the date not modding te console. Also Rooster Teeth posted a video guide showing this method and I highly doubt that they would tell thousands of people a guide that would het them banned.

Please wait for an agent to respond. You are currently '1' in the queue.

Privacy Statement
You are now chatting with 'Destinee'.

Destinee: Hello, thank you for contacting Xbox Customer Support. My name is Destinee. How can I help you today?

Matt: I would like to know about some terms of use about date changing

Destinee: Hello Matt, I see that you have a question about date changing, can you please explain a little more about what you mean?

Matt: I have a lot of gamers questioning about this topic. Is changing the date while offline to gain a achievement considered a "red alert" and cause for a banned of xbox live

Destinee: Ah, thank you for the clarification. I am unsure at this moment but give me just a minute and I will be happy to find the answer for you.

Matt: Thank you it would help clarify this Xbox rumor on the issue.

Destinee: Ok, thank you for waiting Matt. I do know that modifying your gamer score in any way can result in a ban.

Destinee: Did the rumors say that you could do this without getting caught?

Matt: Yes modifying the gamerscore would result in a ban, but I mean to go into you system settings changing the date to gain a achievement.

Destinee: Are some achievements limited to when you play? I thought all achievements were based off of completing a certain task in the game?

Matt: Yes and the task in the game is to talk to a character in the game on the 12 month holidays. So changing the date to those holidays then talk to the character would complete that task

Destinee: Ah, that makes a little more sense now. Thank you Matt.

Destinee: Take a look at the code of conduct:

Destinee: http://support.xbox.com/en-us/xbox-live/troubleshoot/xbox-li...

Destinee: I don't see anything about what you are trying to do.

Matt: Yeah I looked through it as well as the Terms of Use with Xbox Live and couldn't find anything only things about "Gamesaving" and modifications to your console itself

Destinee: I know that I myself have done this on handheld games but I have not tried this on a console.

Matt: So is it safe to say that changing the date of your console in order to gain the task of the achievement is alright as far as the books are concern?

Destinee: It may raise a warning in the system if you are online and the enforcement team will look to see what you were doing but other than that as long as you are not trying to modify a game or your save files or your gamer score I would say that you are safe.

Matt: Well there are over 500+ gamers with this achievement so I don't think any warnings have gone off so far.

Destinee: Well, it never hurts to check up on it first, right?

Matt: Right! I figured this would clear the air on the subject.

Destinee: Awesome! Is there anything else I can assist you with today Matt?

Matt: No ma'am but with your permission can I use this chat towards this subject on my post?

Destinee: You should see a print or email button on the chat window to take it with you.

Matt: Thank you I appreciate your help today Destinee.

Destinee: You're welcome Matt. Have a wonderful day!

Whew! Thanks man! I got this achievement using this method before hearing about the rumor resets. Hopefully they stay true to this and realize it really isn't a big deal.

Where is the proof that this has happened to anyone? It sounds like an awful rumor. If I get banned or reset because I didn't want to wait a full calendar year for a 10 pt. achievement, I'm switching to PS3. Besides, there really isn't any modification to your xbox going on. People have been doing this with games like Fable and Dead Island with no reports of accounts being reset or banned. I still say this is a load of porky pies.

First off, thank you Fishy for going out of your way and talking to the rep.. The only thing that bugs me about the reps at MS is that they don't know their head from the hole in their rears. I've called and talked to a few over issues with things like MS point credit I was supposed to receive and I got nothing but a run around to other, completely non-xbox, non-MS point, related services then told that -suddenly- I couldn't be redirected to someone who MAY be able to help because the reps phone suddenly started to "act up". I know there's got to be diamonds in the rough, however until I find them, and get a direct line to ONLY those individuals, I can't -quite- take what they say at face value. But it is nice to have that conversation to back us up if something DOES happen, so again, thank you.

I've been doing some digging into this and there's a few things I'd like to add:

1) There are people who say that this solution to the achievement is in the official guide for the game -however no one provides a picture of it. I'd like to see that, and am about II <--yay close to going out today and seeking it out so I can attempt to get such a picture for us.

If the OFFICIAL guide to the game says its fine, then I'll believe its find. Brady Games would lose a good bit of longstanding credibility if they lead people to believe that an achievement can be gained in a way that's not legal within the terms of use. I'd assume that to be made official that Brady Games has to go through WB/Rocksteady (actually, I'm sure they need some sort of final approval) so if the guide says it then I'm willing to say we'd be a-go on getting the achievement this way.

2) I went to IGN looking to see if they say this and BAM: http://www.ign.com/wikis/batman-arkham-city/Story_Teller

Floating voice man in the video flat out says this is the way to get it. Now, IGN isn't as official as the companies we're worried about coming down on us, nor is it quite as official as I feel Brady Games guide would be, but IGN has a reputation to uphold as well and can be/is considered an official source with so many other things that there's no reason in my mind to believe that they'd be so stupid to flub up a small thing like this. I may question their review scores, but it seems like something that would get lots of players banned/reset/suspended is a lot more detrimental to their reputation then questionable review scores, so I can't quite bring myself to question its validity.

So... Yeah... I'm thinking it'll be fine, and if not we'd have a LOT of official-esque things to back up our claims if something does go wrong. If I do happen to get a pic of the guide page I'll do something to get the word out there, I'll be out later any way, going to a few more stores to seek it out really isn't any skin off my arse if it helps us all out.

(I take no credit for the link provided, all credit goes to IGN)

The simple fact you can access your console settings so easily and adjust the date yourself suggests it is allowed. If you had to put in a dodgey disc or flashcard with stuff on it that would modify your console, then THAT would be breaking the terms and conditions.

Just an FYI, but Storyteller progress does NOT carry over to a New Game +. I had visited him on Halloween on my first playthrough and gotten that progress tick. However, on starting my NG+ playthrough, I went back down there and the month of October was not crossed off. It continued to stay crossed off on my other playthrough.

And before it's asked, this was NOT in a different save slot. It was in the only save slot I've used.

If they're going to ban anyone it should be the developer who added the achievement. :P

I think it's a great idea in concept but I'm not going to hang on to the game for a year just to unlock it.

I've already had the resale price of my game mashed by their inclusion of the online pass. After a year the GOTY would be out. Grrrr!

Anyway, can add another confirmation on the 11 offline, last visit online on the correct date method working for those that don't like to unlock offline.

just a heads up, people actually get reset for tampering with the clock to obtain an achievement. you can get banned for violations of the Terms of Use. ... Console tampering: purposely changing clock to obtain an achievement. it has happened to a few people, 1 guy with a 200+ gs. so they care not for this. but seeing how so many people have done this for this game so u should be ok. i will be getting this achievement the proper way. far more impressive having this achiev time stamped than offline.

sorry guys i did not mean to cause an uproar. it was when i was using mygamercard.net there was a forum about this guy who got reset, he was 100% legit and the only thing he did was change the clock to obtain achievement in 2 or 3 games. i cant remember hes name or the games he changed the clock with. but all i do remember is he was really upset he had 20000+ gamerscore. my first post was incorrect i ment 20000+. and this was the only thing he could think of to the reason he got reset. microsoft did not tell him why he got reset either. sorry for any confusion.

No problem at all, I'd like to help put this whole thing to bed for us.

I couldn't find one that wasn't sealed, and I kind of drew the line at spending $20 just for this (I had to draw it somewhere). I did get the idea when I got home to send Brady Games a message asking about it (and if the solution is even in the book, hoping they'd at least confirm the "rumor") but I'm not expecting anything from them til tomorrow (monday) at the earliest, seeing as I'm sure they don't have a reason to staff customer service on the weekends. So I guess we'll see where that goes too.

I just finally got a word an hour ago from Brady Games on the issue (yeah, like 3 weeks later). Here's what the email they sent me said:

"I finally heard back from my contacts at Microsoft regarding this issue. His response follows:

“Modifying the game clock is against the intention of the Achievement and could be construed as a violation of the Code of Conduct.”

Although I doubt that it would have an adverse effect, we should advise customers to ignore that strategy and instead try to unlock the achievement in a traditional manner."

In reply to this I asked if they could shed some light on why Brady Games guide (because it was never denied that it was in the guide, ever) would have an achievement strategy that could potentially lead to players getting a reprimand of any sort from a developer/publisher/console or service provider, as it could constitute a lack of fact checking and result in a massive hit to their reputation. I'll update everyone if they reply to that question.

I also asked if they made -or could make- an inquiry in our behalf to WB or Rocksteady about this, given I haven't been able to find an adequate line of contact to them myself. If they say they don't care then I'd imagine that could be used to help anyone who got slapped for using this method.

{UPDATED 2014}
The "Storyteller" Achievement requires you to speak to Calendar Man on each Holiday circled on the calendar located right outside of his cell in the Solomon Wayne Courthouse in Park Row. To get to Calendar Man's cell, enter through the back door of the courthouse, then go down the stairs to the right from where you enter.

The holidays needed for 2014 are:

January 1/ New Years Day
February 14/ Valentine's Day
March 17/ St. Patrick's Day
April 1/ April Fools Day
May 11/ Mother's Day
June 15/ Father's Day
July 4/ Fourth of July
August 16/ St. Roch's Day
September 1/ Labor Day
October 31/ Halloween
November 27/ Thanksgiving
December 25/ Christmas

If waiting for the holidays isn't your style, you can get this achievement offline by manually setting your date to the dates required.
(NOTE: You will not get a timestamp if you get the achievement like this.)
My advice (If you haven't started yet) is use the offline method to get all but one of the dates, preferably the closest date to the day it happens to be when you start this, then wait for that date to roll around and BAM, timestamp.

If you lose track of the dates that you do have, worry not, any date you have talked to him will be crossed out on the calendar outside of his cell.

You must speak with Calendar Man, in the basement of the Solomon Wayne Courthouse, on certain days of the year.

If you really want to earn this online, simply use Fishie Penguin's solution and change your internal dates except for one. I'm waiting until Halloween to earn my achievement, but you can do any 11 dates and simply wait until the next opportunity.

EDIT: Be sure to visit Calendar Man on November 24th once you've scratched the other dates off his list if you want this achievement while online. If you miss this date you'll have to wait until Christmas.

EDIT 2: December 25th is now the next date you can get this achievement online. As Mnemo mentioned in the comments xbox.com has changed a little recently, and it won't show the proper " unlocked " icon if the achievement isn't acquired while online. Again, this is a minor issue for some, but important to know if you like earning achievements with a time stamp.

Trophy is acquired by visiting Calendar Man on 12 specific dates of the year. The dates are as follows for 2013

*Trophy is NOT required for Perfect Knight -Day 2. It IS required for the Platinum trophy.*
**Dates confirmed as of July 27 2013**

These dates are for 2013 only and may only be applicable to the US calendar. Dates marked with a * are subject to change per calendar year.

01/01/2013 - New Years
02/14/2013 - Valentine's Day
03/17/2013 - St. Patrick's Day
04/01/2013 - April Fools Day
05/12/2013* -Mother's Day
06/16/2013* - Father's day
07/04/2013 - US Independence Day
08/16/2013 - St. Roch's Day
09/02/2013* - Labor Day
10/31/2013 - Halloween
11/28/2013* - Thanksgiving
12/25/2013 - Christmas

Calendar Man is located in the basement of the courthouse. There are two ways to get this Trophy. One is to visit him on each date above and talk to him. This will obviously take a year to complete.
The other way is to take your PS3 offline, and manually change the date to one of the above, talk to calendar man, then leave out the back door of the courthouse which will save your game. Exit out of the game, change to the next date, rinse and repeat the process. Remember to save between each visit. You will notice the calendar on the wall outside of his cell will scribble out the month you last successfully talked to him.

**It's been noted on other sites that doing the date changing way can glitch your save file so I highly recommend backing up your save either online or to a USB drive.
Also make sure that when exiting the back door of the courthouse you let the save complete before exiting out to the main menu. This will help alleviate any file corruption.

I don't think that you need to be offline to do the date changing trick. I missed New Years and St. Patrick's Day so far and I went and changed my date on the PS3 whilst online and they've counted so far. I make sure to exit the court house and wait for the autosave to finish before backing out.

Also, the correct dates can be viewed on the calendar that is next to his cell. If you can't read it, just wait
a few seconds for the graphics to load. It takes up to 10 seconds.

**UPDATED FOR 2023 AND BEYOND**

#1 - Preamble
#2 - Explanation of dates
#3 - Dates
#4 - How to ensure you get the timestamp
#5 - My unlock scenario

#1 - If you want the time stamp and don't want to read, skip to the bottom (#4). Every time you get the date, finish the dialogue and then leave the courthouse. Go back in and make sure the date is marked off on the calendar to the right of the cell. That means it is saved, you auto save when you leave the courthouse.

The calendar man is available about 20 minutes in to the game. Follow the on screen markers until you get to the courthouse. Once the battle is completed, you can leave and go back inside the courthouse and head to the basement. If you need a guide on how to play the game, watch the first 25 minutes of this YouTube video . All credit goes to the creator.

#2 - This achievement is now partially unobtainable without altering your time/date on the console UNLESS you've already obtained May, June, September, & November (Mother's Day, Father's Day, Labor Day, & Thanksgiving). If you unlock the dates out of order (skipping past a month, going backwards etc., it MAY glitch the achievement. I did not have this problem, but numerous people have reported this to me).

The theory is the in game clock only went for 10 years, so if you want this achievement you'll need to use any dates prior to 2021. I suggest using 2021 dates. Since the other 8/12 months have stationary dates, you can continue to unlock them in 2023 onward.

I can confirm that the variable 2022 dates don't work and neither will 2023.

#3 - Here are the 2021 dates:

January 1 - New Years Day (Any year)
February 14 - Valentine's Day (Any year)
March 17 - St. Patrick's Day (Any year)
April 1 - April Fools Day (Any year)
May 9 - Mother's Day (Use 2021 date or prior)
June 20 - Father's Day (Use 2021 date or prior)
July 4 - Fourth of July (Any year)
August 16 - St. Roch's Day (Any year)
September 6 - Labor Day (Use 2021 date or prior)
October 31 - Halloween (Any year)
November 25 - Thanksgiving (Use 2021 date or prior) (Thanks to Jerith Geros)
December 25 - Christmas (Any year)

#4 - If you want the time stamp, do as follows:

Start the game and get the first date legitimately. (ex. March) (March 2023)
Get the next 10 dates. (Ex. all except April) (Use all 2021 dates)
Come back on April 1st and you will get the achievement with the timestamp. (April 2023)

Some people have reported this didn't work for them. If that happens to you, a new save can easily be made on the day of this achievement unlocking, and you can simply progress to the courthouse, get all of the dates outside of the current days date, change the time clock back and then you should be able to unlock the achievement with a timestamp.

#5 - What I personally did was start in March 2022, did April, couldn't do May/June, did July/Aug, couldn't do September (at this point I discovered what the problem was, and changed the date to 2021 and did September, and then backtracked May and June - hence the out of order comment). I switched back to 2022 and continued on with October, November, December, January, and now finally February 2023.

If you have any troubles please try and list the conditions and dates you used or no one will be able to help.

(GLITCHED)

Calendar Man is located in a cell below the Courthouse in Park Row. Visit him on 12 different holidays, and press to talk to him. Done correctly, Calendar Man will muse about an incident he caused on that day in the past.

The dates are scribbled down on calendars next to his cell, but for your convenience, these are the dates for 2017:

  • January 1: New Year's Day
  • February 14: Valentine's Day
  • March 17: Saint Patrick's Day
  • April 1: April Fool's Day
  • May 14: Mother's Day (American)
  • June 18: Father's Day (American)
  • July 4: Independence Day
  • August 16: Saint Roch's Day
  • September 4: Labor Day
  • October 31: Halloween
  • November 23: Thanksgiving
  • December 25: Christmas Day

If you’re not intent on spending a year earning this trophy, you can change the internal date on your PS4 or PS3 in order to earn this trophy. On your respective system, navigate to the Settings menu, and select “Date and Time”. Here you will be able to manually set the date and time, and after you’re done, you can set it back to normal in the same menu by selecting the respective setting that will sync the date and time with the internet.

Note on PS4, you do not have to close the application for this to work. You can register a date with Calendar Man, leave the courthouse to autosave, change the date, then repeat without quitting the game.

Do note, however, that your save has a small chance of corrupting when doing so, especially if you change the date while the game is autosaving. Be sure to back up your save using PlayStation Plus or a USB stick before attempting this trophy, and wait until the game is saved before doing anything.

Be sure to press when prompted to speak to him, to make sure that the visit is registered. Also, leave the Courthouse after visiting him in order for the game to autosave each visit. The trophy will unlock as soon as you visit him on the 12 dates.

Calendar Man is found in the basement of the Courthouse and can be visited at the beginning of the game after helping Catwoman escape from Two-Face (see “Acid Bath”).  Speak to Calendar Man on each of the following dates that can be found on the calendar in his cell. You must exit the building in order for the achievement progress to save. If done correctly you will notice the next time you speak to him the date is scribbled off the calendar.

There are two ways you can unlock this achievement.

The first way is to play your game while connected to Xbox Live and play the game on each individual day listed below, which will take you 11 months to complete this achievement.

The second way is to play the game offline.  This method will take you approximately 30 minutes after you’ve spoken to Calendar Man for the first time.  This method sounds confusing but it really isn’t.  With this method, you also do not have to fully exit the game to change the date each time as you did on the Xbox 360.

Note: If you choose the second method you will not receive the achievement notification until you reconnect to the internet and return to Calendar Man’s cell after you’ve completed all 12 dates.

  1. Play the game from the beginning, unlocking both “I Am Batman” and “Acid Bath”. (optional)
  2. Once those are unlocked, press the on the controller to return to the Home screen.  Press on the Home screen and navigate down to ‘Settings’ and click on ‘All Settings’.  Click on ‘Network’ then ‘Network Settings’, highlight the box ‘Go Offline’ and press . This will disconnect you from the internet.
  3. Power down your console (hold the white circle on the console for 10 seconds - a.k.a. hard reset) and then restart it.  You will now be able to change your date.
  4. Press on the Home screen and navigate down to ‘Settings’ and click on ‘All Settings’.  Click on ‘System’ then ‘Time’. Change your console date to January 1st, 2016.  Start your game make your way to the side entrance of the courthouse.  Enter the door, go down the stairs and speak with Calendar Man.
  5. If the date is correct, he will stand up, walk towards you and give you a dialogue about a crime he committed on that date.  When he’s finished, he will back up and sit on his cot.  This is how you know the date is correct.
  6. After you speak to him, proceed to exit the courthouse (through the side door as this is closest) and your game will save.  From here, press the on the controller and go back to ‘Settings’ > ‘All Settings’ > ‘System’ > ‘Time’ and change the date to February 14th, 2016.  Return to the game and make your way back to Calendar Man and you will notice that January is now scratched off his calendar.  Proceed to speak with him again.  When you are done, exit the courthouse and the game will save again.
  7. Keep repeating this procedure until you’ve spoken to him on all 12 dates.  When you’ve spoken to him for the last time, exit the courthouse so the game saves.
  8. Press the once more and go to ‘Settings’ > ‘All Settings’ > 'Network' > ‘Network Settings’, highlight the box ‘Go Online’ and press .  This will reconnect you to the internet.
  9. Return to the game once more.  Standing outside the courthouse, enter through the door one last time.  As you are descending the stairs, the achievement should unlock.

To get this early you can do it offline. If you want to get an online time stamp for the achievement then you will have to connect to XBL as soon as you engage conversation with him on the last date or do all of them except the one that is closest to the current date and then complete it on that date.

Calendar Man is found in the basement of the Courthouse and can be visited at the beginning of the game. Speak to Calendar Man on each of the following dates that can be found on the calendar in his cell. You must exit the building in order for the achievement progress to save. If done correctly you will notice the next time you speak to him the date is scribbled off the calender. It will take approximately 30 minutes to complete if you do it offline and simply change your console's clock to each of the following dates:
