How to unlock the Point of Impact achievement in Batman: Arkham Knight - Definitive Guide
This achievement is most easily attempted via the AR Challenge One Man Army (or Untouchable) under the Batmobile Combat category which is unlocked early in the game. It is recommended that you load this up to make this achievement as easy as possible, although the same method can be applied to any area of the game. You may want to upgrade your Vulcan Gun with the precision upgrade as well prior to attempting this.
A perfect shot is attained when you use the Vulcan Gun () to get a direct hit on a light tank's weak spot with the first bullet that leaves your turret. The tank's weak spot is located on the top, near the turret directly where there is a visible glowing light. Hitting this weak spot immediately after using the Vulcan Gun will make the tank explode and grant the player with a "Perfect Bonus" or "Perfect Critical" indicator in the top left of the screen. If you miss you will instead get a "Critical Bonus" or "Critical Shot" which DOES NOT count.
You'll want to use your movement to get nice and close to the enemy light tanks, which will help you avoid missing due to weapon accuracy. Another important note is to make sure you only shoot if you are 100% certain that you will get the hit. A good method is to stalk a light tank until it stops and tries to shoot you, there will be a short moment where it stops moving and this is the best time to hit them. The achievement is awarded after 5 perfect shots in a row without taking any damage. If you mess up feel free to restart this AR Challenge until you are able to get it.

If anyones having trouble on this challenge I found Untouchable to be much easier as at the start there aren't many missiles to avoid and all the tanks stay in one place, the area is more confined too, making it easier to hit the target

There is also a upgrade that can be purchased with upgrade points, that improves the precision of the Vulcan gun.

For this achievement I used the level UNTOUCHABLE on the batmobile combat challenge section, it's a little easier than doing it on the ONE MAN ARMY level as the tanks don't move about making it easier line up the shot to hit the little purple light on the turret of the tank with your Vulcan gun [RB]
I had a fully up graded batmobile with the upgrades to the Vulcan gun.

In my opinion, this is a way easier challenge to this on. I tried one man army like 5 times then saw this and said wth. Got it first try. Thanks

I used ne0 31's solution and found this way to be much easier.
Batman Arkham knight – Point of Impact Achievement/Trophy Guide
Point of Impact - Perform 5 perfect shots in a row with the Vulcan Gun without taking damage.
Level – Untouchable
The goal is to preform 5 Perfect shots in a row without getting hit. Seems easy right. This one will take a little practice, but with some luck you will have it done in no time.
The reason we picked Untouchable for this one is because the enemy tanks will not move. You are plopped right in the middle and they will all try to shoot you. One shot and your dead. So don’t get hit. You will want to aim for the bright light beside the barrel of the tank, and the trick for the perfect shot is that you have to take it out with only one round. If you have to use more than one round, it will not count as a perfect shot. You must get 5 in a row without getting hit to unlock the Point of Impact achievement/trophy.

For those of you who are still struggling with this achievement, it can be done during the campaign of Arkham Knight.
When you are searching for the second tree for Ivy to help with the Cloudburst, you will have to go underground in the sewer/subway terminal in Port Adams.
At one point, you will have to exit the Batmobile and sneak past several light tanks to lower the wall. Once you lower it, you can take out your 5 tanks from here. Only 1 of the tanks move due to being a patrolling one and you simply have to line up the shot and boom.
If the tanks start to target you, you can easily dodge it. And not to worry if you miss, there are about 7 tanks total here so you have room to spare in case you mess up.

To perform a perfect shot with the Vulcan Gun (the machine gun bound to R1) you simply need to shoot the blue light on enemy tanks.
I was easily able to unlock this trophy on the AR challenge "Untouchable". Enemy tanks do not move in this challenge (making perfect shots easy).
Note: Remember on this challenge you cannot take any damage, one shot and then dodge, repeat x5. Easy win. Good luck.

Yes, Untouchable was definitely the easier AR to do to get this. Thanks!

If you're struggeling with the One Man Army method like I did, here is an alternative solution if you haven't started new game plus yet. At the beginning of the game, when you have to drive Ivy to the GCPD Department, you have to clear out the area in front of the panessa studios (same spot where the one man army challange takes places). Start clearing out the area to load up your energy of the secondary weapons to level four and leave exactly five tanks that are close to each other. Get close to the group of enemies and use your EMP (). Now that you don't have to worry about the enemie's attacks you should be able to get four perfect shots in a row. With just one enemy left just take your time and wait for the right moment to get your last perfect shot. If you can't make the four perfect shots in a row or miss your last shot just restart the checkpoint.
It has to be on New Game Plus. Otherwise you won't be able to use EMP and load up your energy to level four

The Vulcan Gun is the machine gun weapon on the Batmobile (R1). Load up the AR Challenge "One Man Army" and just keep trying until you get the trophy. To get a perfect shot you have to hit the glowing blue light with one shot of the Vulcan Gun. It took me about 10 tries before I got it. You must do this 5 times in a row without taking damage.
It can be really annoying since the drone tanks like to slightly move right as you're firing the Vulcan Gun but the AR challenge I recommended is easy, short, and will give you 4 or 5 chances to get 5 in a row before you run out of tanks, and if you don't get it the challenge restarts in a second so you don't have to wait a long time between tries.

I just got this on Untouchable, stationary tanks are way easier to hit

You might want to add that the Vulcan Gun is used by pressing the R1 button, just to clear things up a bit more. For the rest the AR Challenge worked like a charm.

A great place to get this Achievement is during the story when you have to make your way through the unfinished subway project to help wake up the giant tree to help Ivy.
You'll come to a long stretch of hallway where you have to remote control the Batmobile. Because there's no room in there the drones stay in place, and since there's only one at a time you'll have plenty of time to carefully aim. Remember to target the bright light right by their gun turrets, this is the spot you have to hit with the Vulcan to get a critical hit.

To pull this off, you'll need to use the Vulcan gun aboard the Batmobile ()and shoot the purple sensors of 5 enemy tanks in a row without missing a shot, or without taking any damage. Make sure you only fire one shot at each sensor for it to be considered a "perfect shot." This is probably best done during the "One Man Army" AR Challenge.
Refer to the video below for a visual representation of how to get this done.

In order to get a perfect shot you have to hit a drone's critical point (the bright shiny light) on your first shot.

Can be done in the DR One test in the Warrior Field . You need to kill without missing, shoot at the purple sensor. If you fail, then fail the test and start again. You can repeat it endlessly.

It’s better to do it in the “Invulnerable” test, because in this test the enemies are practically motionless)
