How to unlock the Run Through the Jungle achievement in Batman: Arkham Knight - Definitive Guide

You'll need to make your way through about 60% of the main story to have all 3 of the main bridges lowered. Once these bridges are lowered, you'll need to either upgrade your Batsuit to have Grapnel Boost MK IV or your Batmobile to have Super Eject Level 2, and then make your way to the Penitence Bridge. For this method we'll be travelling under the Penitence Bridge, then the Mercy Bridge and lastly the Perdition Bridge.

Start off on the ground level and use your Grapnel (or Super Eject) to go towards the high wire that lines the top of the bridge, going on the outside in order to go under and then towards the other bridges. At the very height of your jump, begin your dive towards the water, and pull up as you come out of it. You will now be pulling up for the rest of your flight! You will now need to work with a pattern between diving towards the water and then releasing and gaining most of your height back. Each time you do this, you will lose a little from your maximum glide height, but you will have enough to make it under all 3 bridges.

A key part to successfully completing this is timing your dives and glides to go over the 2nd bridge first, loop around and then dive under it. If done correctly you get very close to the water, and pull up a lot of height after coming out from under the 2nd bridge. Continue to previous pattern all the way to the 3rd bridge, and the achievement will unlock once you pass under it!

I've done exactly what this video has shown, twice, with no achievement. Glad it worked for all of you who voted positive, but I'm voting negative.

I just couldn't get this to work, I didn't have the right timing on my dives I guess. anyway I found using the advanced batmobile launch right from the first bridge gives you a lot more height and momentum so you don't need to do quite as many dives to carry yourself. so if anybody stinks at diving like I apparently do try that method instead to get a bit more speed than the grapnel boost.

otherwise thanks for the help, the U-turn on the second bridge would've taken me awhile to figure out on my own.

thank you so much for this video!!! I was still struggling a bit but if you feel the controller vibrate a little that's how you know you're getting enough speed to pull up out of the dive to continue to your next dive.

I'd just like to point out that having just earned it first try with no grapnel or batmobile ejection upgrades, the upgrades are unnecessary.

I found this much easier to boost up to a higher point first, then come at the first bridge well above it.

Starting from the 3rd bridge and then heading to the 1st and the 2nd ones was much easier for me. Nice solution btw.

I didn't have the upgrades described but managed to do it after a few attempts. As well as diving and pulling up at the right time the key is definitely how you navigate the second bridge. If you don't get this right you will not make it to the 3rd bridge, As you go under it you need to sustain the pull up as much as possible to get the height coming out of it.

If anyone is struggling with the perfect timing to do a dive just keep looking at the wind around batman's cape while gliding. while you pulling up and you see those two wind lines disappear, It's time to dive.

I actually still had my grappling boost at Mark II and I still had plenty of glide left to pull it off. I also started at Perdition and ended at Penitence. My launching point was the billboard nearby Perdition, gave me plenty of height to do it.

Starting from the upper beam as in the video was the key for me. That lets you boost straight up instead of an angle, and then dive straight down.

Thanks Maka. Just a little tip for people who are struggling. DONT pull up constantly like the guide says. Pulling up hard the whole time helps you climb, but costs speed and overall distance per glide. As soon as you pull out of a dive, push down slightly to level out the wings. Less wind resistance, will allow more speed. Then before you start losing altitude, pull up just before you go for another dive. Batman will still have a little climbing left under his wings. I dove half as many times as he does in the video. Anyone who has gotten "Gotham After Midnight" knows this technique. Make a waypoint and glide to it if your curious about the speed difference.

I found that Mercy, Perdition, and then Penitence Bridge was the best order for me using the Batmobile launch was the best for me. I still used Maka91’s tips about diving and gliding to make it all the way around the bridges. One positive upvote from me!

Batman Arkham Knight – Run Through the Jungle Achievement/Trophy Guide

Welcome back for another DaddyGotGameTV guide. In this video I will be helping you get the Run Through the Jungle achievement/trophy. In this one you must glide under the three main bridges that connect the three islands in the game. The three main bridges are the Penitence Bridge, the Mercy Bridge and lastly the Perdition Bridge. There are a few tips that I can show you and a few things that you must do before you can accomplish this:

First, you must have progressed far enough in the main story so that all three of the main bridges are down.

Second, you must have upgraded the Grapnel Boost to Level 3-4.

Now there are a few tips to help you along.
- Start off at Penitence Bridge and then glide over then turn around and glide under Mercy Bridge, then proceed to glide under Perdition Bridge.
- Don’t pull up to much when gliding. This will cause you to loose forward momentum and thus decreasing your range from the glide.
- Start off on the ground at Penitence Bridge and look up and zoom into the wire for more speed off of your grapnel boost.

The achievement/trophy will pop after you have successfully glided under all three bridges and have landed back on the ground. Thank You for watching. If this has helped you, please Like, Subscribe, and Share. This has been another episode of DaddyGotGameTV.

This trophy requires you to fly in one continuous glide under the 3 main bridges in Gotham. The bridges can be located in the center of the map, surrounding the large statue.
The trick to maintain speed and altitude is to dive quickly, then pull up and use that method to bring you back up higher into the air.

Here is a video by PowerPyx showing exactly how to get it as well as where the bridges are on the map.

Thanks, this video helped me get this. I think an important note is to have the eject upgrade for the batmobile so you have enough height and speed to begin the glide.

In order to build enough momentum for your flight, you will need to use the "Batmobile Eject," or dive from a high building, then dive bomb towards the first bridge in Gotham. Now you'll want to glide as high as you can before flying underneath the first bridge. Make sure to utilize dive bombs frequently during your flight to create more momentum in your flight. For the easiest route, it's best to start at the bridge on the northern most front of Gotham.

Keep in mind that you cannot begin working on this achievement until power is restored to the bridges.

Please refer to the video below for a visual representation of how this can be done.

If you have played previous parts of the Batman series, then there should be no problems with this trophy.

We jump out of the Batmobile and fly over all the bridges in one go, using gliding, constantly falling down and taking off.

First you will need to lower the bridges. Make it plot-wise.

It is not necessary to lower the bridges, I got the trophy with one lowered bridge. The main thing is to fly under the raised bridges as you flew under the lowered bridge, at the same level.

The main thing is to start from a high altitude (a maximally pumped ejection, as in the video from Powerpyx, is a sufficient minimum, but it’s easier from some crane nearby). Then after the first, wide bridge, the speed will be sufficient to gain sufficient height, etc. We measure along the bridge on the right, it should be like at 00:40 - if lower, we immediately restart.
When the horizontal flight speed is sufficient, you can even taxi down a little so as not to hit the bridge with your head, which makes it easier to determine the last moment of the dive - you don’t need to try to pass a millimeter above the water.

The trophy is actually very easy! It’s not very clear from the clues above, since Batman still doesn’t reach it and falls into the water. In general, when we dive down with a clamped , wait for the joystick to vibrate, as soon as you feel it, release it and pull the left analogue towards you, gain maximum height and repeat the manipulations. Thus, you can fly endlessly without losing altitude and fly under all bridges even in gtav.

In front of bridges there is the greatest danger of losing speed, because trying to guess the trajectory to fly under the bridge. In order not to worry about this, simply maintain the maximum possible height in front of each bridge, and start diving immediately shortly before the bridge as far down as possible to the water. Having flown under the bridge, stick the stick towards yourself and gain altitude back.

The rest of the time, stick the stick towards you while a white “contrail” trail comes from the wings. As soon as the white stripes have disappeared, we dive until vibration appears, then push the stick towards you again.
