How to unlock the Silent Night, Deadly Night achievement in Batman: Arkham Knight - Definitive Guide

The secret is taking out the medics in the right order and mopping up the rest. There's a certain order and you'll need to watch the video, the same method applies to Batman since I'm using Robin in this video.

A knockout smash is hitting X in the middle of a Silent Takedown.
Like the achievement description says, don't take any damage.

You can use gadgets as Batman at least. Used disrupter & voice synthesizer to help a little! Good luck guys

Oh man!!! This is pissing me off, I know for a fact I did both times not getting hit and only smash takedowns, and it hasn't popped yet....

I spent in total 40 mins trying it as batman, didn't pop. did it one time in less than 2 mins with Robin and it unlocked right away for anyone who has trouble with it.

Thanka for the video solution, helps a lot. 1 important thing in this.achievement that is not mentioned that you have to do without taking any damage, dont worry about time, just focus on smash knockouts and no damage.

Great guide. Only thing I had to change up was the 3rd medic. Waited on the small pavillion the first medic was in until he came up the ladder and turned. I was having issues with timing the glide. Got it in 48 seconds with Batman.

Completed at least twice with both characters, all knockout smashes and no damage all runs. Nothing popped yet. Secrets of the Batcave (all beatdowns with Batman and Nightwing on the Batcave map) was also slow to unlock and popped in the middle of an attempt, so I’m going to keep trying. I’ll edit this comment if I get it.

Edit: tried once more with each character after this, using the method in the video (great route, by the way), and nothing popped. Gave up at about 23.30 and went to bed. This morning the achievement notification was there on my phone, looks like it popped at 02.10 in the morning. However, TA puts it in yesterday's list unlocked at 22:34... Maybe Xbox Live issues?

+1. Additionally, if you are bad at the game like me you can simply take out the medics one at a time. A revived medic will no longer have his medic ability. I took out one medic, he got picked up, then focused on the next two individually. after they were done I went through and got them all over again to finish it.

How I did it with both of them, is at the beginning, wait till the first medic rounds the corner then crouch followed him till he reaches the second gargoyle, then took him out......grappled up and headed to the other side of the room, nailed the second medic on his way to the first medic I just took out.......the 3rd medic is a very short wait........I waited till he started working on the 1st medic after the normal thug walked away or had his back turned, then took him or the medic out, with Batman, you can "cheat" and use the disrupter on the last 4 thugs so they can't shoot you if they see you.......with Robin, though, you just have to be a little more patient....I've done this quite a few times this way just for fun, and now I can do it in less then a minute and a half..........

Load up the Silent Knight predator challenge. For this one you need to use Batman and/or Robin, do not get hit, and only use knockout smashes. A knockout smash is when you start a silent takedown from behind with cn_T and then press cn_S.

The key to making this one easy is taking out the medics first. Once the medics are taken care of, you can take your time mopping up the remaining guys. There are 6 total enemies consisting of 3 medics and 3 regular thugs. The regular thugs have guns, so if spotted, be swift at getting away. If you see your health bar appear in the upper left, you've been hit and should restart.

Also, if you're having trouble getting all 3 medics down in quick succession, be aware that once a medic is revived, they lose the ability to revive anyone, so you won't have to prioritize a downed medic that has been revived.

The easiest way I found to down the 3 medics quickly was to grapnel to the vantage point in front of you, and then across the map to the office area, and jump down on the roof. From there, you can knockout smash the medic that walks out; quickly corner cover to the left of the doorway that leads out to the catwalk, and another medic will come to check on him. Knockout smash him, and quickly grapnel to the vantage point directly across from where you first started. This will position you to see the 3rd medic climb the ladder and head towards the office area; drop behind him and knockout smash him, quickly grapnell-ing from between 2 - 3 vantage points to get away. At this point you can mop up the remaining 3 how you see fit; however I found it easiest to drop down into the grates on the lowest level, and take out the patrolling thug there. Another thug will come and check on him, and you can easily take out the 5th guy. At the point the 6th guy should be terrified, and will have somewhat erratic movement and turn around often. Perch on a vantage point and when he gets close, drop behind and do the final knockout smash.

This predator challenge will require you to take out every thug with a Knockout Smash (approach from behind, tap Y to perform Silent Takedown, then X to Knockout Smash) as Batman and Robin, all while never taking damage. If you accidentally get hit during the challenge, you must restart right away. 

When doing this, take out all the Medic units first. This ensures unconscious thugs cannot be revived during your run. Additionally, gadgets can be used throughout the challenge. When playing as Batman, Smoke Pellets can help cover your attacks, the Voice Synthesizer can be used to isolate thugs, and the Disrupter can jam enemy firearms. Robin doesn't have any of these gadgets however, so more improvisation is required. While playing as either character, make use of Detective Vision in order to track your enemies. 

Be sure to follow the video solution below! It demonstrates an easy-to-follow path in taking out all the thugs as both Batman and Robin extremely quickly.

Apparently, other than the Bat-claw, no more devices can be used. The trophy was given only after he stopped using x-ray vision and a smoke bomb, although he had fulfilled both conditions clearly before.

Just received the trophy. Used only a grappling hook and detective vision. The test is easy.
I'll give you some advice about the doctors - you can knock them out at the very beginning. Each has 3 resuscitation packages, but these packages “burn out” if the owner is knocked out.
And so we just sit in cover, wait, knock out the first enemy , , and hide. and so on until they end
If you receive damage, restart the test
