I followed the steps, don't have access to the Initiation DLC challenges. The only one that appears in challenge mode is Batman

Unfortunately, I can't say the same for Mercury, an admin and an arkham community manager for WB games who completely copied the format and language of my solution and claimed it as his own. It worked first try. Followed steps 1-7 exactly and played ranked combat Intensive Training and got 3 medals. After the final round at the summary screen 2 cheevos popped. Batman Origins is now 100% and shelved. Thank You

BTW, plagiarism is not illegal. However, it is considered dishonest and unethical. Assuming he/she has taken credit over at WB for addressing the initiatiation dlc problem, you could send an email to their director over at WB and blast a piece of their credibilty. I would do it just for principle.

Batty I created the thread on x360a with the solution, you just typed the same solution but in diff detail, so maybe plagiarism applies to you as well muwhahaha, nah just messin with ya, I'm not in the slightest bit bothered as long as word gets round and people get their achievement. My credit went to some guy called L V BLazy, no idea which forum he is from as I found the solution on a Google search, it may have been Gamefaqs (urgh).

@II Kazz II. I know you made that post and you credited L V Blazy for a incomplete solution, as some people claimed it worked and others didn't. I simply added the delete update step and the clear system cache step, which is guaranteed to work 100% of the time. Cheers for the collaborative effort

OK, just as an update, I was finally able to get the achievements. I went to Gamestop and exchanged my disc, and the new one worked without any problems. I have no idea how a disc that worked fine for months suddenly quit working after I removed a title update, and then still wouldn't work again even after the title update was put back on. Hope this helps anyone who might run into this problem with this piece of crap game.

It's now confirmed; WB has no further plans to fix this. Screw them!

Not for nothing but how dare they say they will not fix this after taking peoples hard earned money and give them a broken DLC .
If that's the case then they should refund the money they took or FIX THIER BUSTED DLC !
I shouldn't have to jump through hoops to unlock an achievement that is broken SHAME ON THEM !

Does anybody know whether Microsoft might have an opinion about them not fixing an achievement unlocking glitch, especially when they fixed it on the PS3? I would think it would be in Microsoft's best interests to put some pressure on WB for this one.

Unfortunately, the only real broken aspect of this DLC is the achievements, which Microsoft only sees as a market ploy. If say, Bruce fell through the stage every time you started a game with him, then they'd be worried.

It sucks, but at the end of the day, this is a trivial matter.

I have tried to do this solution and made sure I did every step,
When I go into challenge mood the DLC is not there to be played so WB can kiss my ass just like the publisher of Ghost Busters for taking my money and giving me broken DLC and or game shame on them and Micro Soft for letting them get away with this

Ok I just got this achievement and if you're having the same issue that had with this solution then I'm here to till you this is not good news to say the least.
Apparently if I understand correctly this achievement doesn't work with older consoles I happen to own 3 units and 2 are refurbished unit from Game Stop and the other is a Call Of Duty edtion I gave to my son for Xmas .
I took my hard drive and used his console and the achievement popped after redoing one challenge.
So that where the bad news comes in, if still want the achievements you ether have to get a new system or find a friend with a newer unit that you can use.
And I still call B.S. on WB and MS. For this problem.

@Lobo Samhain. There is no possible way to get this achievement with a timestamp as of right now. However, the publisher of the game made a statement saying that an update should be released sometime in January fixing the initiation DLC achievements to unlock properly.

@Lt Davo. I'm glad everything worked out for you in the very end. It must have been a hassle to pay Gamestop a visit and demand a new disc, unless you already payed for a 1-year warranty. How peculiar...

@Findlayfiend. Well then... that is really... umm... fucked up to say the least. WB is probably like, "hey guys, let's make the initiation DLC and quickly get it out there". An employee responds, "Are you certain the achievements will unlock when they are supposed to?". WB replies, "No. But does that really matter? We just want to upload a $7 DLC, which takes roughly 6 hours to complete, with unobtainable achievements."

@SENTINAL 107. Well, at least everyone on TA shares the same sentiment as you... RAGE!!! When it comes to future WB Montreal games and achievements, at least everyone will know that they might have to circumvent a few console settings to unlock certain achievements, which is quite laughable to say the least .

What I wouldn't give to go back in time four hours and warn myself not to attempt this. I had just completed the last Initiation campaign and was ready to follow these steps to get the achievements offline. I deleted the 15Mb title update and restarted the game, then after pressing start, I got a pop-up window, "Damaged Downloadable Content Detected". To make a long and sad story short, I can no longer play Batman Arkham Origins on my console. I have removed every DLC, every save file, every update, everything to do with Arkham Origins. I have tried disconnecting from the internet. I have tried removing my hard drive. Yes, I've deleted the system cache. Many times. It should be just like when I opened the box and put the disc in for the first time. THE GAME NO LONGER STARTS. Either it gives the above message after I press Start, or it goes to the storage device selection screen and hangs there.

I don't blame the writer of the solution, but I do want to warn everyone about this 100% guarantee. No. The only 100% guarantee is that this game is a heaping, steaming pile of crap. I congratulate everyone who was able to get their achievements via this method, or any other method, but to anyone reading this, my advice is to wait on the next title update and hope that it is fixed then.

Oh yeah!! I am definitely going back on Arkham Asylum and Arkham City for this!! Just need to get rid of those dang pesky combat maps, lol!! Works awesome!! +1 from me!!!

Why the heck is it WAY easier with Bruce Wanye to rack up huge points, yet with Batman, I almost barely squek by?

Not sure. If anything, I thought Batman was easier because the Bat-swarm move gets guys all around you, rather than in one direction. Just make sure you're close enough to several guys when you activate it. Obviously the more guys it hits, the more points you get per move.

I was equally as excited when I figured this out....but then when I went back to do Asylum, I realized that the A+X move doesn't exist. Bummer. So for that game, you have to do it legit, sorry. I got it eventually, though. Good luck!

I have the same problem as Fuzzy Vengeance. Deleting the update removes the ability to play the initiation dlc. I can only access Batman challenge maps.

Same thing as NJDevil and Fuzzy. Deleted the 15MB update and cleared the cache and can no longer access the DLC. Any help or suggestions on this?

You have to clean the cache before doing it. It doesn't worked for me before that.

Yea, this achievement will be forever unobtainable for me if they don't make a patch. I can't access any DLC challenge maps while playing offline, without the system cache, or Title Update, or both.

How do you clear the cache from the latest 360 slim? I have cleared the 'content cache' and re-did a challenge and it hasn't popped. Any advice?

Word is, the achievements are now unlockable online!

These can now be unlocked online. A recent patch fixed them. I believe the patch was on 4/9/14. I recently unlocked them and was online when I did.

This one also unlocked online without any problems for me. I played all the challenges online with the most recent patch.

This did not work for me. I cleared the cache, deleted the update and played offline. The Bruce Wayne challenges were then not available to me, only Batman. Can someone please help as these are the last two challenges I need on this game. Thanks!
