How to unlock the I've Got This achievement in Batman: Arkham Origins - Definitive Guide

This achievement requires that you unlock all upgrades in each of the three upgrade trees listed on the Waynetech page in the pause menu.

Most of them will be unlocked simply by progressing through the main story and purchasing them as you level up. However you will also be required to:
*Complete through challenge 10 of each of the first three Dark Night tracks
*Capture each of Black Mask's Assassins
...for which there are already a number of excellent guides.

Batman: Arkham OriginsThe Innocent and the PredatoryThe The Innocent and the Predatory achievement in Batman: Arkham Origins worth 39 pointsCapture all of Black Mask's Assassins

Pay particular attention to the Worst Nightmare Dark Knight track. Many challenges can only be completed in particular rooms. It is easy to fall behind. Luckily you only need to run through challenge 10, not all 15.

You must acquire all upgrades over a single save game file. You may use NG+ and I Am The Night Mode to unlock any items you missed in your first playthrough. In general, if you are missing a particular upgrade even after achieving max level rank, just highlight over it and the game will provide the prerequisite.

Max level can easily be obtained within a single play through. Crimes in progress, collectibles, and miscellaneous street fights provide an endless supply of xp. That being said, I found it most natural to grab my last 2 or 3 levels while I played through ng+.

If you unlock your final upgrade during a later playthrough in which you have not yet acquired all of the story line upgrades (shock gloves) then the achievement won't pop until you exit to the main menu. For example, I didn't unlock the sonic batarang (via Worst Nightmare Dark Night track challenge 10) until I was in a NG+ run that had not yet progressed far enough to unlock the shock gloves. I got a checkpoint, exited to the main menu, and it popped moments later.

I just wanted to let you know that I can confirm that the achievement won't unlock until you exited out of your game. I got frustrated with the first Bane fight in NG+ and decided to exit out. Once it reached the title screen, the achievement unlocked and this was after I got Rank 9 and 10 completed in the Royal Hotel Swimming Pool predator area.

Having massive trouble with this - my game seems to have developed a bug, whereby my Sonic Batarang doesn't work after finishing the main story..... without it I'm stuck at rank 4 on the Worst Nightmare track, so can't grab the lvl 10 unlock, which is now the only one I'm missing.

Has anyone else experienced this at all, or found a solution to it? Massively frustrating.

Thanks for the "Quit to main menu" note. I got the Sonic Batarang upgrade (my last) and the achievement didnt unlock. Checked and 2 story ones were locked. Nearly threw my controller!

Read your expert guide and calmed down a bit.

I'm glad it helped Solario32. Certainly can be a confusing series of requirements.

There are a total of 59 upgrades. They are distributed into Close Combat Upgrades, Invisible Predator upgrades and Auxiliary upgrades. The first two- which have 21 and 23 upgrades respectively, are unlocked using upgrade points which you receive when levelling up. You get XP by completing objectives, encounters with enemies and collectibles. It's possible to get enough in one playthrough (including doing every side mission and collectible) but you'll be cutting it extremely close. But you should definitely get enough by the end of NG+ and everything else, I had 8.5m spare xp with only I am the night mode left.
Then there are the 15 auxiliary upgrades, which are unlocked by doing the most wanted missions and getting to level 3 and 10 in the first three Dark Knight challenge paths. You don't need to purchase these, they are automatically unlocked when you complete the required task. See Clean Streets and Legend of the Dark Knight for help unlocking these upgrades.
All upgrades are carried over to NG+. Once you have bought or unlocked all upgrades, you'll get this trophy.

WARNING: MISSABLE ACHIEVEMENT

Every time you gain enough XP to level up in the Story Mode, you will earn a single upgrade point. These points can be spent to unlock upgrades and improve Batman’s skills and equipment. The upgrades are divided into three categories: Close Combat, Invisible Predator, and Auxiliary.

The Close Combat upgrades focus on increasing Batman’s effectiveness when fighting an enemy close in, fighting large groups of enemies or when fighting specialized melee. The Invisible Predator skill tree helps improve stealth combat such as evasion, concealment and takedown abilities. Lastly, the Auxiliary upgrades are unique as they deal with gadget improvement and combat techniques and will automatically unlock by completing certain Dark Knight tracks and Most Wanted missions.

Each of these categories have their own “skill tree” and like any skill tree, you can only unlock the later upgrades by spending points on earlier skills – even if they are not all that great. The deeper you get into an upgrade tree, the more powerful the upgrades become. Unless you complete every side mission, find every collectible and complete all the Most Wanted entires and crime scene investigations, you may not be able to obtain all the upgrades on your first playthrough. Fortunately, since your progress carries over into New Game+, you can continue working on it on your second playthrough if necessary. Take note that this achievement is considered missable if you do not complete Challenge 10 of the Worst Nightmare Track before finishing your New Game+ playthrough.
