How to unlock the Freeflow Gold achievement in Batman: Return to Arkham - Arkham Asylum - Definitive Guide

This is only a solution/exploit for both Rumble in the Jungle levels

Finish off everyone else in the room and leave one Titan alive.
If you knock a titan henchman down into a finishing pose, which is when he is hunched over with stars around his head and his health bar empty.
Run towards him with holding cn_A for a few steps and then press cn_X to do a flying kick and this will give you 20 points without finishing him. Then after kicking him throw a Batarang with cn_LT for an additional 20 points after every kick.
repeat until you hit:
Rumble in the Jungle: 30,000 points
Rumble in the Jungle (Extreme): 50,000 points

In the extreme version of the fight this exploit can be done on both round 2 & 4 i recommend 4 that way you only grind what you are missing.

i couldn't get it to work but the addition of the batarang added enough points to my round that I got the 16 medal achievement. Thumbs up and thank you.

ok, this works but took me bit of research and practice to get it right. when titan is at no health you cannot punch him at all with the X button or it will finish him. To do the kick right as explained above you have to keep holding A to press X at same time to do the flying kick, then immediate batarang will give X3 constantly.
you can practice your kick while titan is down cause he will never get up till you finish him

I have completed all combat challenges and no achievement!
What I did was replayed the very first challenge and when I got my 3 stars the achievement popped.
Anyone else having trouble unlocking this?

For anyone wondering why the achievement didn’t pop I’ve come to find out some of the achievements are severely delayed, I completed this and it didn’t pop for an hour after completion, so if you haven’t had the achievement pop I’d let your game idle for a while and see if it pops before you close your game.

Truthfully, these combat challenges were a much more difficult mantle to undertake than I had anticipated! And admittedly, I'm not the most qualified to talk about these batman games 'round here, so I'd highly recommend the related achievements & trophies page for Asylum on the 360, some great guides on how to perform each individual level link is here:
Batman: Arkham AsylumFreeflow GoldThe Freeflow Gold achievement in Batman: Arkham Asylum worth 178 pointsAchieve 24 medals on combat challenges

That being said, I can offer a couple of general tips and tricks that may help, mostly obvious givens:
-You're going to want to work on your combos. Sounds obvious I know, but having combo diversity can really set you over into 3 star numbers. I'd recommend working on this similar achievement at the same time:
Batman: Return to Arkham - Arkham AsylumFreeflow PerfectionThe Freeflow Perfection achievement in Batman: Return to Arkham - Arkham Asylum worth 37 pointsPerform a perfect combo including all of Batman's combat moves (any play mode)

Personally, going for freeflow perfection helped me, as it took my focus into performing the proper moves at the proper times. Change of mindset!
-Don't let a bad first round worry you too much. Some of the best 3 stars I had were mostly done in the final couple of rounds (points wise).
-Don't button mash x, learn the timing. It'll help you keep a level head and achieve those tasty X2 combo punches.
-The evade button is your friend.
-you can only get the achievement with Armored Batman. Joe shmoe regular Batman and Joker won't work.
-Never doubt the range on batman's punches! He can punch one guy on the far left side and run all the way to the right side without breaking a sweat!
-and last but certainly not least, BE FULLY UPGRADED! Very obvious, but very important for sure!!

Hope this all helps anyone in need!

In the extreme levels just remember to stun the stabbys and jump the shockies. So in regards to rumble in the jungle extreme which is probably what you’re needing help with. Go for flawless round in round one, with atleast a 8x variation combo, this should put you around 10-12k. Round 3 just do the best you can to keep the streak alive and focus on the inmates going for throwables/guns. You don’t need flawless just the highest combo you can get. Rounds 2/4 with the titans are pretty much copy and paste. Immediately when the round starts throw your batarang to disorient the charging titan. When he hits the wall attack him and counter the inmates. The key is to hop on the titans back with a multiplier and do as much damage as you can while riding the Titian. Each hit give 25 points multiplied by your combo. Rinse and repeat until the Titan is exhausted and finish off the inmates. It took me 2 days to get the 50k mark and I finished with 54k it went a lot more smoothly when I noticed the points gained from the rodeo attack. Also if your attacking the Titan that’s not dazed remember that every 2 hits you need to jump over to avoid his attack and keep the streak.

To obtain this trophy you must have very good melee skills. and you should take it on after completing the story, when you have upgraded all your devices and abilities.

Don’t forget to throw a quick batarang more often, especially when the counter is yellow, and towards the end of the round after the batarang there will be 3 opponents lying on the floor and we finish them off on the ground and the entire counter is multiplied by ????

A bad trophy, not for hands-on people like me!
Advice! Try to score as many points as possible in rounds 1 and 2. A high combo counter and L2+ finishing moves will help with this. (use in the combo itself naturally) multiplies the score counter by 100! This is a great help in gaining the required points.

Another tip is to turn off subtitles and set the speech volume to zero. The constantly flirting Joker is annoying after an N-attempt.

As for the last test “Law of the Jungle (Extreme)”, in the 1st round all of Batman’s fighting techniques (9 of them) really helped me out - see the description for the Freeflow Perfection / Perfect Combo trophy.
For all the techniques I was given 5000 points + I wasn’t hit even once and + a continuous series = as a result, in 1 round I was given as many as 20,000 points. And then in the remaining 3 rounds it remained to do everything the same more or less beautifully. And yes, somewhere they hit, somewhere the series was interrupted, but this did not stop me from accumulating the required 50,000, precisely thanks to all the techniques of Batman in the 1st round.
