First of all, you need to find all the Titan containers and destroy them. All. As soon as you have done that you can go to his hideout. Talk to him and fight the wardens with him. After his betrayal, you will have to destroy the remaining Titan. Do so and the achievement is yours.

This is NOT story-related, hence it being a SIDE quest... It is very miss-able as you can finish the main story vs joker without getting this! I came to this solution for clarification after I finished the story and the description is very vague.

For anyone having trouble unlocking this, make sure you put explosive gel on each of the last six tanks after you lock up Bane.

I initially put one on the middle tank for each side and even though it blew them all up I didn’t get the achievement. I went back later and applied explosive gel to each tank and got the notification that the side mission was complete and unlocked the achievement.

Side mission – Fragile Alliance.

See Distress Flare for more information.

Once you've located the flare, defeat the thugs that are guarding the door. Once you've done that head inside to where you will find Bane. After talking to him, the locations of the Titan Containers will be added to your map. Not all of them will be accessible straight away. Destroy them all using your Explosive Gel, then head back to Bane. You will be confronted by more thugs inside. Defeat them, then a small cut-scene will appear. Once it has finished destroy the remaining Titan Containers to which you will recieve this trophy.
