) To unlock the hostage's location you need to unlock a certain percentage of Riddler's trophies and/or solve his riddles. The location of the hostage can be found next to the church (the building to its right). You will notice a green question mark on a wall. Push it to enter the building.
Solving this "riddle" is actually very easy. It is a riddler-fied version of shell game. Simple turn your Bat-vision on by pressing
and follow the guards way. tell Riddler the correct position of the guard and the hostage is saved. Hope this helps you guys!

You will be able to rescue this hostage once you solve 80 riddles. See Genius for the Riddler Challenges guide. Go to the map location that appears after solving the Enigma Machine, break the question mark wall and enter.
This puzzle is a cup puzzle where you must determine which cup the officer is ‘hidden’ under. The Riddler cheats during this and uses a device to move the officer while the cups are shuffling. Use Detective Mode (
for PS4, 
for PS3) to locate the officer (the left cup), and hit the switch below him with the batarang. Then, rescue him by climbing up a nearby platform and gliding over to him.
The officer will give you new codes for your cryptographic sequencer. Use them, and solve 160 riddles for the next hostage (Puzzler).
