How to unlock the Apprentice Crafter achievement in Battle Chasers: Nightwar - Definitive Guide
Once you enter the Iron outpost, a room early on in the dungeon will have an obvious crafting table.
presuming that you've been picking up resources as you have progressed the map, you should be able to make a basic armour straight away.
For crafting in general, select the item type (this is limited by which 'recipes' you have picked up). The basic health/mana flasks are not available until you speak to Quell in the first village (which i think the option isn't available until after the Iron Outpost) but you should have access to something in the Iron Outpost.
Once an item type is selected, go down the list and highlight the particular item. On the righthand side it will show you what materials you need for a 100% success at crafting, If you don;t have enough items, you can still attempt to craft but you have a chance that the crating will fail and the resources lost.
You can add additional materials and every 100% above the base amount will turn the item into a higher rarity of item.
With a bit of farming, I was able to make an Epic (purple) chest plate for Calibretto (to actually make him a little more of a tank!) which netted me this achievement and also a little progress on both the Epic Crafter and Master Crafter cheevo's.
(if you are looking at risk taker, better to wait until you have a recipe for health as this can be attempted with only a single resource item)
