How to unlock the Bad Moon Rising achievement in Battle Chasers: Nightwar - Definitive Guide
Deadwatch is the fifth dungeon in the game and will have between 9 and 11 rooms in total (regardless of difficulty). All but four of the dungeon’s rooms (the start, a mini-boss, an enemy encounter and the end boss) have random room layouts, although a few of these ‘randomized’ rooms remain similar across playthroughs, but with different contents. The goal here is to reach the end of the Dungeon in order to face the boss.
*This Dungeon was a bit different as there's a mini-boss to fight a few rooms prior to the final boss.*
Your final boss shares his damage with his two cronies so focus your big strikes on him. Eventually, he will cast a spell on them to keep them from being able to die so make sure someone in your party can dispel them so you can achieve the final blow. (I used Alumon) Then focus back on the boss and your good to go.
Story related, can not be missed.
Deadwatch is a pretty straightforward dungeon with a few "puzzles" that use the Dead Heart, but nothing out of the ordinary. The boss of the Verimatrax isn't a huge headache, but the battle itself can be. He's accompanied by two normal enemies that share all the damage he takes, so basically whatever you hit him for, he takes a third of that damage and the other enemies each take a third. The thing that makes this even worse is that he casts a spell on them that makes it so they can't die for a few turns, so they will never go below 1 health, but still take 1/3 of the full damage for him. He will also attack you with his sword in between casting that spell. The best in the battle is to try to take out one or both of the normal enemies before he can cast the spell on them so that he will take more damage. Once the spell is cast, just focus on him until the spell wears off and then you can take the other one out and finish the boss off. Once you finish the Deadwatch dungeon, the trophy will pop.
