Should be very easy to find each other, since when I was boosting, there were 2 people online in the previous week, and 30 in the past month.
Player Matches don't count towards anything. I boosted 150 Player Matches and unlocked zero achievements in this game.

A little tip about boosting these online achievements.
First be aware that you can't change setting in ranked matches, you have to handle 2 rounds per match.
The winner should take Deathbringer as he's one of the most powerful character.
The loser will have to take Watson, he has the less hp amount and will may save you a few seconds per round.
The quickest way my boost partner and I found was spamming the Forward + B move of Deathbringer, a powerful and easy move that doesn't even bump away the opponent.
A round can be done in 8 seconds this way.
Including menus, we reached 6 wins in 10 minutes, in other words all 60 wins in 100 minutes, 1 hour 40 minutes. 3 hours and 20 minutes for both, in total !
