you only need to do the main branch of story mode to get this achievement, but i will assume that you are going for 100% in story mode, also i suggest using practice mode to learn the characters moves.

lose to every character in the main and second branch of story mode, on the Main branch finish with Final Strike against Donvalve, against Urs and Marco you need to win by Time out. To get to the Second branch defeat Watson with Final Inferno.

EDIT: deathbringer appears to be a special exception to story mode, so there a few other things to do, complete the second branch 4 times, and do the main branch twice, once doing the special objectives in the match once not doing them.
