How to unlock the Meowmeowmeow! achievement in Battle Fantasia - Definitive Guide

Coyori is a pretty versatile fighter. There are many ways you can start her combo. The hardest part is mashing the buttons enough to reach 50+ hits during her Cat Storm super. Of course if you have some turbo controller or arcade stick it will be easier, but I and many others did it on a regular controller. Persevere and you can make it.

Go to practice mode and change the Enemy Settings: No Guard e set Auto Attack as C attack.
As always, I also suggest you choose some tall character as your opponent, such as Deathbringer or Donvalve. Whatever combo you have chose, you will need 3 mana bars, so attack the enemy until you get it.

Now, the combos. Each one is an alternative:
1) Heat Up > AAABC > Crazy Cat Dance (QCF, QCF+A/C) > Cat Storm (QCF, QCF+B/D) – mash!
2) Heat Up > crouching B x 3 > standing B > CD > Crazy Cat Dance (QCF, QCF+A/C) > Cat Storm (QCF, QCF+B/D) – mash!
3) Heat Up > AAACD > Tea is Ready (QCF+A/C) > Bitter Tea (D during Tea is Ready) > Jump AB > Double Jump (press up in the air) > Jump AC > Crazy Cat Dance (QCF, QCF+A/C) > Cat Storm (QCF, QCF+B/D) – mash!
4) (start on the edge of the stage, opponent against it) Heat Up > Low Gachi Drive (forward-down diagonal + Parry) > AAAAABBC > Crazy Cat Dance (QCF, QCF+A/C) > Cat Storm (QCF, QCF+B/D) – mash!
5) (start near the edge of the stage) Heat Up > Jump D > AAA > B > C > D > C Tea is Ready (QCF+C) > Jump A > Jump B > 2 steps Jump A > Jump C > Crazy Cat Dance (QCF, QCF+A/C) > Cat Storm (QCF, QCF+B/D) – mash!

You can watch combos #2, #3 and #4 on the video. They start on 1:33, 2:06 and 2:40 respectively. Combos #1 and #5 I found on Battle Fantasia's japanese wikia.
As you can see, there are many ways to start the combo, you can even create a new way. All of them end up with Crazy Cat Dance super first and Cat Storm right after. Personally I did the first combo, it's pretty easy. You just have to be aware of the timing between the C attack and the first super.

About the mash part, there isn't much I can help with. If you're fast, you could pause the game as soon the word "Cat Storm" flashes in the screen in order to adjust the controller in your hands or even on a surface, any way you feel comfortable (or even to prepare a second person to help you mashing the buttons). I heard people talking about using the bumpers and triggers too, but I just used the left analog and ABCD.

Good luck!

Great solution! Appreciate the time it took to bring all the combos together. Just wanted to say that after watching the video I realized you not only have to mash Y but the directions as well. It shows that if you watch the video carefully.

And you can add that you dont have to fill up your gaugeby yourself, you can activate "gauge MaX" in training options, you can still get achievements (for EU version, i dont know for ntsc)

Great guide! I did combo #1, but came out to 49 hits a couple of times. With heat up I was able to add a 4th A to the beginning. Also I had an autofire controller...and came out to 51. Apparently spacing really matters with that one! I was vs. Donvalve btw.

Combo order: Hold down+AAABC > QCFx2+A > QCBx2+B then jam buttons as much as you can.

Start with the few ducking attacks then stand up in the middle of that combo, but right as the final hit of that standing regular combo ends, you have to be doing the movements for the Crazy Cat Dance super move already, and after you do that and it finishes most of the hits, you need to start the Cat Storm movements. This is where it gets a little crazy, because Cat Storm hits more times depending on how much you jam on the buttons. And to get over 30 hits out of this move, you have to go absolutely crazy on your controller, and I'll wager to say this is actually impossible on a regular 360 controller, you need an arcade stick. You have to jam on EVERY button on the controller, including the d-pad/analog to get as many hits as you need, and you just can't hit buttons on a regular controller layout as fast as you need to for this move. If anyone is able to pull this off with a regular controller without a turbo button controller, I would be extremely shocked.
