How to unlock the The Blossom's Fury achievement in Battleborn - Definitive Guide

Thorns lore challenges are

Daughter Of Shadows - Kill 500 enemies with Blight.
Vengeance For The Lost – Kill 1000 Jennerit troops.
Granddaughter Of Stone - Complete 5 matches on the same team as Boldur.
Spry Spirit Spray - Kill 20 players with Volley while airborne.
The Last - Win “The Archive” on Advanced difficulty without losing any lives.

Daughter of shadows is simple. just keep using blight. Blight is attached to your cn_RB. After one run through of campaign i had around 400 so chances are you will have to play through a little more.

Vengeance for the lost is also simple. Jennerit troops are the creatures that look like monsters. They are in most missions if not all. I had this done before my first run through of campaign.

Granddaughter of stone can be a little tricky if you are by yourself. You need to finish 5 missions with Boldur in your team. For campaign you can just die and for versus you just need to finish. Doesn't matter if you win or lose. To unlock Boldur you need to complete the mission The Experiment or get to rank 26. Doing the mission would obviously be quicker. If you don't have someone to play with you can do this yourself with another controller. Just sign in and do split screen campaign to unlock him on the other account and then just do the first mission over with him just sitting there 5 times.

Spry spirit spray can be a little tricky. Volley is attached to your cn_LB. This has to be done to real players. It cannot be done to bots. The best way for me was to do the capture mode since there is no bots to worry about in it. I would just try to find people by themselves, get them low then get volley ready and jump and fire. Most of the time it will say you got an air kill. For me it did not pop up every time, But almost. i got 3-4 every game, most in the beginning before the enemies got more powerful. Just make sure to put all your skills you can to increase your volley attack.

The Last would be the most difficult one to do. One of the hardest out of every character. I am currently unsure about doing this in a group because I did it by myself. Once I get confirmation I will update this guide. This guide will be the strategies I used for a solo run. Before you start make sure to turn on advanced as well as hardcore. since you can not die I turned hardcore on just to end it as soon as I died as well as to get credit for doing hardcore itself. The reason I suggest doing this solo is because the difficulty increases exponentially with every player you add. This was easier then doing normal with another person.

The Archive Advanced Hardcore Solo

When you start out You don’t need to hurry. Just take your time and kill EVERYBODY and open EVERY CHEST. Your goal here is to get as many shards as possible for later in the level. I would suggest not buying any of your gear yet. The purple shield down by the big door you go through can be destroyed by buying the turret nearby. It is 300 shards and is the one that does not rotate through multiple. It is always worth it to buy these since you will get more from the shards inside. Once you activate Chronicle your goal now is to rush and kill everyone as fast as possible. You want to stay ahead of him so the enemies do not have a chance to attack him. At this point a big advantage for playing solo is that if you get far away from him he will stop moving. From what I have seen he will not stop in co-op no matter what. There is another purple shield to destroy here too so make sure to get that. Once he is in the shielded area he is safe so go back through and make sure you get everything in the first area. Then go and clear the next. it should not be too much trouble. Another purple shield here too. Once you get close to Melka the next part will start so make sure to stay clear till you are ready. This is where you will need all your shards. Buy all 3 turrets and both traps. They should be all shock turrets and fire traps. Make sure you keep these up. They will do most of the killing for you. The first 12 or so should get through without much issue. Then your turrets and traps will start dying and you will need to replace them. Keep with the robots when they are walking, casting blight on them in tough situations. The enemies will stop spawning when you get to a certain point, and don’t forget to run away into the shielded area if you are going to die. The enemies cannot go in there so you will be safe. You do not need to worry about the droids too much because they will not stop coming. You cannot fail this part unless you die. After you get past that part the rest should be easy. Buy all your gear you can now. You won’t have any issues with shards now. This time Chronicle is walking you want to stay with him. You will be leveled here so enemies should go down quicker. Make sure to take out the Jennerit spawners. They look like the big needles sticking out of the ground. Also note that he will take a different much longer path here. As long as you stay with him you should be okay. All that is left now is the boss. The shards will spawn infinitely here so you don’t need to worry about not being able to spawn turrets. Just keep them up and kill mobs attacking them till the boss comes into the middle. The third time he comes down he should be at half health and will no longer run away. From here just make sure your back is towards the wall so he cannot push you off the cliff. he should not be doing a ton of damage to you. Once he is dead just wait till it is over.

If Anyone has anything they would like to add just let me know and I can add it in.

As of 7/21/2016 the requirements for this have changed. Mainly just for lower number of kills needed so this will not take as long.

Only 3 missions now for "Granddaughter of Stone" - I did it split screen and made a short video for how-to for those who've never done the split-screen thing:

Only caveat is that your 2nd account (if you're doing it like me with a second XBox account) has to have Boldur unlocked.

For "The Last" - it's quite easy if you collect a crapload of shards before starting the sentry, and let turrents and traps do all the work. I did a video run-through with captions:

"To unlock Boldur you need to complete the mission The Archive"
You unlock Boldur by completing The Experiment

This achievement is bugged for me. I had all her lore complete except for the jump kills with Volley when they released the update that made many of the Lores in the game easier. I had 18 Jump Volley kills when this update rolled in. Now the game says all her lore is complete. The achievement never unlocked and I've since gotten more than 20 Jump Volly kills. The same thing happened to my friend. lol Anyone else have this problem?

"Granddaughter of stone can be a little tricky if you are by yourself. You need to finish 5 missions with Boldur in your team. For campaign you have to win"
This is inaccurate. Failing the Story mission counts as a "complete" all the same as losing a Versus rounds does.
I suggest playing "The Void's End" and simply suiciding off the cliff that you spawn in front of. Roughly takes about 20-25 minutes to get done per person.

The only daunting part about this Lore challenge is "The Last", but really its a piece of cake. I got it on my first attempt with this.

I take no credit for this, please like this video, it is not mine, but makes this achievement super easy.

Key things to take away:
- You can get infinite shards early on by waiting 5 minutes for the 3 large crystals to respawn.
- Save up about 6000 before you start the Sentinel.
- Build Thumper/Inferno on every available space, it does all the work for you.

The archive on high difficulty was played solo, with items that reduced the cost of buildings, a crystal generator and a HP generator. At the first opportunity, before approaching Mellka in the story and sending little bots to squander the archive, I ran through all the available locations and rebuilt all the buildings (missile turrets and fire traps), so it turned out that everything was built in advance and you can safely shoot everyone. Run in "Hardcore" mode to be sure Maybe it will help someone.
