How to unlock the All men dream achievement in Battlefield 1 - Definitive Guide

Hidden In Plain Sight
The Hejaz Railway - Scout The Crash Site.
Simply get out your binoculars when the mission starts and look around the entire crash site.

The Bedouin - Find the book without being detected.
Simply use the pull and melee combo by using your shell casing to lure enemies towards you or apart and you will be able to knife them. The one you need to watch however is the sniper on top of the cart so lure everyone away from him and leave him for last.

Celebrities - Collect all field manuals.

Young Men's Work
Gertrude Bell - Kill one of the officers by using a Bolt - Action rifle.
From your spawning area, head over to the weapons depot and inside a tent is a silenced sniper. Inside the building you will find the officer you need to kill so sneak in and headshot him.

T.E. Lawrence - Kill one officer with a melee attack.
When you reach the village you will find the officer inside the building overlooking the radio station. Sneak in and melee him.

Tanks In The Desert - Kill one of the officers by using a tank.
Head over to the ruins now and you will be able to grab one of the two tanks. When inside a tank enemies don't notice you so drive around and look for the general who will be with a Juggernaut by his side and blast him.

Women Rise - Collect all field manuals.

Hear The Desert
Desert Cars - Destroy the three vehicles while undetected.
Very easy if you still kept that sniper from the previous mission (the silenced one). From where you spawn, snipe all the enemies that you see aside from the juggernaut and let them find the bodies (this doesn't cause alert just makes enemies walk around more). When there is only the juggernaut left, run around and find some dynamite in chest's and throw one on each car then just hit the trigger and it'll unlock. I will post my walkthrough showing it off when it's uploaded.

Planes above the sand - Keep at least 2 field guns operational.
The best way to do this is to not touch a field gun but rather find the sniper which does massive damage to vehicles inside one of the weapon tents and run around the map. This will cause the train to aggro on you and not the guns.

Guerilla Warfare - Collect all field manuals.

For some reason silenced weapons can still attract attention. It's best that you kill the guy outside so that way he won't hear you when you go in.

There are like 6 field guns, to use and fire on the train I lost 4 of them. I simply kept firing and moving as soon as I shot the gun. I purposely didn't use two of the guns to get the challenge complete, on hard difficulty.

Great tip Sanjol. Tossing anti-tank grenades from the horse then sprinting away from the train while waiting for the grenade cooldown made killing the train a piece of cake, even on hard.

Another tip for the train: load up on dynamite (of which there is plenty in the village) so that you're carrying the maximum possible. As the train draws into the station, get in front of it and then run backwards down the tracks dropping dynamite as you go. Leg it to a safe distance, wait until the train is right over all of the dynamite and then let her rip; this knocks a good 25-30% off the train's health right away. I then used AT grenades, more dynamite and the tankgewehr to finish it off and didn't need to use the field guns at all.

The train one.. I got the book but caught.. I try to go back and re do it to get the 2nd to last codex but it wont let me open the box?

In the third part you have to either throw the dynamite under the trucks quickly or kill everyone except the armored unit. The dynamite disappears in about a minute for some garbage reason. I had to do it several times and ended up killing everyone. Plus you do not need the silenced sniper from the previous mission. There is one right next to you when you begin.

Also bugged for me. The tracking was flawless except for the very last field manual, locking me out of this achievement and Enough for a library.

Anyone have a good video for the stealth part in the first mission? I have looked all over and not been able to find one. I have tried that part so many times I am ready to give up.

Thanks for the guide! Helped me unlock the achievements.
I have one usefull addition for the Planes above the sand codex: you can use the horses in the village to rush besides the train. Killing every artillery unit in your path with your sword and throwing anti-tank grenades on the train if you're close enough. Just keep moving and this will do great amount of damage. Also, If you take a horse, a new one might spawn in the same location, so you can repeat untill the train is completely down.

There are a total of 11 Codex entries in War Story 5 Nothing Is Written.

Hidden In Plain Sight:

The Hejaz Railway – Scout the crash site in Hidden in Plain Sight.
You will get this after you've spotted the enemies through the binoculars and started to move at the beginning of this mission.

The Bedoun – Find the book without being detected in Hidden in Plain Sight.
In order to get this you have to get into the hatch without being spotted by any enemies. You can do this by clearing out all of the enemies around the train silently. You might want to melee kill all of them in order to keep it as quiet as possible. However you don't need to kill all of the enemies around the train for the codex it just helps because, if all of the enemies are dead then no one will see you trying to enter the hatch on the top of the train.

Celebrities – Collect all Field Manuals in Hidden in Plain Sight
See the video Nothing is Written under the trophy Enough for a library in order to find all the field manuals to unlock this collectible.

Young Men’s Work:

Gertrude Bell – Kill one of the officers by using a bolt-action rifle in Young Men’s Work
You will have a bolt action rifle from the start of the mission. Got to one of the 3 areas where there is an officer and kill him the the rifle and you will obtain this codex.

T.E. Lawrence – Kill one of the officers with a melee attack in Young Men’s Work
Just kill one of the officers at one of the three areas by melee killing them and you will get the codex.

Tanks in Desert Warfare – Kill one of the officers by using a tank in young Men’s Work
There is a tank in the ruins. In order to obtain it you will need to sneak up on it otherwise the enemies that are around it will take it and you will have to restart. Once you've gotten the tank then either go for the officer in that camp and kill him with the tank or go to one of the other 2 locations and kill one of those officers and you will obtain the codex.

Role of Women in World War 1 – Collect all Field Manuals in Young Men’s Work
See the video Nothing is Written under the trophy Enough for a library in order to find all the field manuals to unlock this collectible.

Hear The Desert:

Desert Cars– Destroy the three vehicles while undetected in Hear The Desert.
You can do this by acquiring C4 from the tent just in front of your starting point and sneaking up to each of the three vehicles and placing a C4 on each of them. Make sure that you don't blow any of the C4's until all 3 of them are placed because if you do then you will alert the enemies before all three vehicles are destroyed and you will have to restart.

Planes Above The Sand – Keep at least 2 field guns operational in Hear the Desert
You can easily obtain this one by playing on easy difficulty and not using the field guns at all. If you don't use the field guns then they wont be targeted by the train which in turn will keep them from getting destroyed.

Guerilla Warfare – Collect all Field Manuals in Hear the Desert.
See the video Nothing is Written under the trophy Enough for a library in order to find all the field manuals to unlock this collectible.

Arab Revolt – Complete Nothing is Written
You will acquire this codex once you've completed all 3 missions in the war story Nothing is Written.

To unlock this achievement you will need to unlock/complete all of the Codex Entries in the Nothing is Written story. These can be found on the Soldier tab on the main menu or on the pause menu during missions. You will have to fulfill a task to unlock each Codex Entry. Below is a list of the Codex Entries and their requirements for this story for a reference.

Codex entry "Desert Vehicles", you need to destroy three armored cars without being noticed. To the right of the spawn, in the tent with the rifle icon, we take dynamite, place three dynamites in stealth near each car and explode it anywhere on the map. It is not necessary to clear all enemies.

An important point is that one dynamite is enough for each armored vehicle. To be on the safe side, I threw 2-3 at a time, but in the end it just disappeared and I had to replay it.

3 armored cars - the mobs are very stupid, I would even say - I haven’t seen such stupid mobs for a long time... in the tent next to the start of the mission there is a rifle with a silencer, you can kill everyone except the guy with the machine gun, then we run around all the cars, throw 1 at a time saber, we blow it up, in the tent across the road from the tower with the sniper there is a heavy rifle, we use it to bring down the fat man with the machine gun. The next chapter - there are a lot of boxes all around, there are dynamite, and grenades, and ptruzho, plus we have a heavy rifle in the inventory, it also causes damage to the train, in short, we throw grenades, the main thing is not to get up to the guns and generally stay away from them so that they don’t caught by an attack on you (so as not to fail part of the code for 2a surviving guns), the train on high difficulty was blown away in a couple of minutes by grenades and a shotgun. Successful
