How to unlock the CQC Specialist achievement in Battlefield 2042 - Definitive Guide

This cannot (currently dated 12/11/21) be unlocked in Portal. I've tried on several occasions with adjusting settings within Portal (e.g. sprint faster, extra damage) and having no settings like the ones mentioned above and still nothing.

This can be unlocked in Solo/Coop under the "All Out Warfare" tab of the main menu, as you can easily unlock Deadshot achievement in this mode.

I did this on Breakthrough on the map Manifest. On the first sector you can run behind the AI (set to beginner), on A1 and get loads of knife kill. You can also fly a little bird to A2, jump out over the boat and knife loads of enemy AI there as well as they're not really expecting you.

Your correct mate it can be unlocked in Solo/Coop against the AI bots. This is how I managed to get the Achievement

its really hard to be able to run up to the enemy and actually knife them. they can be pretty accurate.

Succes asser simple conquête IA facile, peut être combiné avec le succès dozer après avoir tué 7 ennemis au bouclier, on parle de corps à corps, l'animation couteau n'est pas obligatoire juste tuer l'ennemi au couteau

Can confirm it works in portal. Just unlocked it today. No progress bar until achievement popped though.

the easiest way i found to unlock this was.
1.go to all out warfare AND choose solo and co op vs easy bots.
2.when game loads select Doze with the SOB-8 SHIELD. these kills with the shield do count as melee kills as you get the dog tags after each kill. also getting 7 in one life will get you the DOZE THIS ACHIEVEMENT
3. use a vehicle to go and drive behind the enemy jump out and start smashing

Can be combined with the achievement where you need to kill 7 enemies with a shield. A shield also counts as a melee attack.

Easy to do with bots. Take Dozer with a shield and run to poke enemies at . Made it in 10 minutes in Capture mode. Can and should be combined with the Bulldozer trophy
