How to unlock the Pack Rat achievement in Battlefield 2042 - Definitive Guide

The pick up and get credit method is patched. You now have to extract with the data drives but if your teammates extract also with data drives you get progress for those as well. So whatever the total extracted data drives for the whole team after the match ends is you will get progress for that number. You can find data drives by searching with a data drive scanner at the beginning of the match if you equipped it in your loadout prematch. The pods that are already on the ground when you leave the dropship only have 1 data drive in them.

If you stay until extraction 2 more will begin to drop into the match and can be recognized by red smoke. They contain 3 in a pod each but they will also spawn AI that are infantry and in vehicles. The AI do hit hard and will flank you or rush you, also goes to say you can get 3rd partied by another human enemy team.
You can hold up to 3 drives but there is a tactical perk that lets you hold more.

The 50? No, that's impossible the most you can get if all your teammates have the extra data mine perks and all have 5, is 20. But that's near impossible unless you're a god squad.

Does this achievement track? Just extracted with 12 drives as a team and got no progress.

For boosting session purposes it seems the minimum required to boost can now be 8 players.

This is due to patch 5.1.0:

Added a dynamic minimum player requirement. If not enough players join the lobby in time, the player requirement to start a round will be automatically reduced to a minimum amount of 8 players in order to start a round.

The data that your team has in the squad is also taken into account.

The trophy is buggy, if the team got it, but you didn’t, try to fly away with at least one intelligence disk during the next evacuation.

Currently, the trophy does not glitch, it drops exactly on 50 data. You don’t have to rush with it, in 25 minutes you can evacuate and you’ll get much more data.
