How to unlock the Aerial Destroyer achievement in Battlefield 2042 - Definitive Guide

I did this without using portal which is just a hassle imo.
Start up a conquest game solo and coop on Orbital map. Make sure you have the FXM-33 AA missile equipped as well as it autolocks onto targets. Once the match starts, ascend to the top of the launch pad(it's usually A1).

Usually a transport vehicle spawns for the opposing team at the start but if it doesn't just keep an eye out. When you see any air vehicle, jump and deploy parachute. Switch to FXM-33 AA with cn_right, and autolock on your target. It can take 1-2 hits depends if the vehicle was hit already.

This is stupidly easy. This took 30 seconds, if that.

This is honestly the easiest achievement, doing it this way. in the entire game.

In Solo/Coop I did not see any Transport on Orbital, only Attack heli and that has flares. So to hit 2 times, the jump is too short. First shoot a rocket so it dispenses its flares, before you jump. Then jump and do it's final blow(s).

Took me a couple attempts but easy enough.

First attempt, the Heli flew out of range. Second, on a condor, ran out of rockets. Third, on the Night bird, bingo.

Building on KGI's advice. Stand on the roof and lock on, hold the lock a few seconds and the Heli will use its flares. Then, staying on the roof, get your first shot in. Finally, jump off and finish it off.

Orbital. Done on Nov 2nd 2023.
Stand on top of the high building (A2? A1?). Use FXM-33. Line up first shot on jet fighter, flares will pop, line up second shot. Jump and use para, reload use 3rd time if needed.

Helis are easier to take down.

If you’re okay with air vehicles I got a jet very low then jumped out of my heli and 1 hit it with the lock on missile I done this in coop

I would strongly advise you do this achievement on a custom portal server against AI rather than in a public lobby.

Set your custom portal to conquest, pick any map (I did it on orbital), put vehicle spawn delay multiplier to 0, have 30 PVE AI all on beginner difficulty. Keep other settings as default.

Once you have loaded up the game modify your loadout, then go over to your gadget and equip the Recoilless M5 launcher. To use this in game you have to press right on your D-Pad.

Now you’re ready to get the achievement. Get in a helicopter from spawn and fly over to an enemy AI helicopter. As the AI is on beginner they won’t try to fly away or shoot you. When you’re a good distance above them simply jump out, instantly pull your parachute, pull out your Recoilless M5 launcher and shoot at the helicopter until they blow up and your achievement pops.

If you fail simply redeploy, get back into a helicopter from spawn and try again.

I've set up a Portal server specifically for this achievement. The server makes vehicle health low and projectiles fly fast.

Equip a recoilless M5 launcher as an engineer, spawn in a helicopter, fly over an enemy helicopter, jump out, equip your parachute, equip the recoilless M5 launcher, then aim and shoot. The rocket flies very fast due to server settings, so there's almost no need to adjust for the vehicle movement.

You can either search for the server "Aerial Hunter Achievement" in the browser, or you can use the experience code ABKKMX, which I would recommend over searching in the browser.

To use the experience code, head to Portal -> Host -> Experience Code (in the top right).

You can easily do it in a game with bots, go to the " All-out Warfare " mode, click select " Single and cooperative " mode, click and set the intelligence level of the bots to the lowest, select any card and launch. Take the F35 or any helicopter, look for the enemy helicopter, rise above it, jump out, open the parachute and shoot with a grenade launcher, the trophy is in your pocket.

Portal aa671f we take a helicopter and take off as high as possible in the center of the cosmodrome. For the engineer we take the homing fxm-33. We jump out, open the parachute and aim. There are 3 shots further redeployment.

The fastest and easiest option.
You need a friend, go to the portal, create an hourglass map in hardcode mode. A friend gets into a helicopter and flies to skyscrapers, lands low, you land high, jump off and from the parachute the helicopter is destroyed in one shot.

The easiest way of all.
1. Find a server named HappyMap in the selection of Portal servers
2. Create a server with this selection
3. Spawn in any vehicle and fire a couple of shots to spawn bots
4. Get into the aircraft, get out of it and destroy the fighter by parachute.

I made a trophy in capture mode (with bots) on the cosmodrome map.
Climb to point A1 , a Condor MV-38 always flies there, they begin to dismantle it from the ground, and when it hangs in area A2 , below you, jump and shoot with a rocket launcher. Considering that he had already been attacked from the ground, one rocket was enough for me.
