How to unlock the Demolition man achievement in Battlefield 4 - Definitive Guide

If you are nearing the end of the Tashgar mission and do not have enough points for this achievement, fear not. There is a spot at the end where enemies respawn infinitely allowing you to get the last points you need. Stock up on ammo while in the dam setting charges at every opportunity because there is no place to get more ammo at the infinite respawn. You don't need to take a sniper rifle in the end because the enemies are close enough that you can get headshots with an assault rifle or carbine. When you get to the end of the mission and are told to blow up the dam...DON'T. 3 enemies will infinitely respawn behind you above where you made the last jump. You will know you're in the right spot because your teammates will keep telling you to blow up the dam. Once you see the achievement pop, blow it up and end the mission.

To unlock 'Demolition man' you must score 15,000 points on the sixth campaign mission, Tashgar.

Firstly, difficulty makes no difference to your points tally as there is no multiplier, so its easier on easy difficulty.

Tips

*Headshots give a 25 point bonus
*Adrenaline kills give a 50 point bonus
*Multi-kills give a 100 point bonus

This is in addition to a normal kill (100 points) and a squad kill (50 points).

I also chose not to utlise the ENGAGE feature, as that racks up squad kills and halves your possible points for that section.

I would recomend using a steady AR/LMG, with your main gun being a sniper rifle.

Every kill you go for, aim for the head with a sniper rifle, and chain them together as fast as you can for bonuses.

If you see a group of enemies standing together, use the grenade. The multi-kill bonus is the biggest you will get.

If you are struggling, and you see a lone soldier, let him shoot you til your screen blurs. Then headshot him from close range, as you get a 75pt bonus (adrenaline + headshot).

If you reach a section where enemies appear and its a programmed route, restart checkpoint and utilise claymores for big points.

Dont be scared to restart the checkpoint if you don't do well.

Good luck !

The normal rules for this trophy exist. Get headshots, don't let your squad steal any kills (50 points versus 100 points + bonuses) and try to get as many kill streaks, head shots, and multi kills, and any other bonus you can earn.

However at the end of this mission I was short almost 1500 points, the good news however is there's a trick to this mission. You need to trigger C4 at the end, but if you have a decent sum of bullets, the enemies at the end will continually spawn. And by that I mean I was able to kill them for almost 2 minutes, they are a bit predictable (they spawn from 4 spots). And I was able to farm my 1500 points.

If you really need to abuse this trick, you'll have planted the third bomb after going down an elevator, then go outside of the dam again and fight enemies on scaffolding. When you need to jump to a ladder at the end of the level, you will want to stop, and walk back to the elevator and restock on your favorite weapons (your choice, no judgement or suggestion, but the LMG with the scope has a lot of ammo, and the Scar H is a personal fav).

After getting the right weapons, go back Jump to the ladder, and continue on the mission, you'll walk across a bridge that collapses soon after. This is the point you want to abuse. As long as you didn't do horrible on the mission, you should be able to easily farm your way up to this trophy.

This is one of the longer missions, and as such it features a very large number of enemies. If you have been following the strategies from the previous missions and those outlined in Above and beyond the call, then you should not struggle meeting the points goal. Between the gadget stashes and weapon crates, you will be afforded an abundance of grenades and explosives. Put them to good use to help with multi-kills. There are RPGs on the rooftops and in the gadget stashes to help you safely take out the tanks that appear early in the mission.

You can also attempt to execute 10 adrenaline kills (kills while your health is low) and go for the Infiltrator trophy. Each adrenaline kill will add 50 points per kill, so earning Infiltrator during the mission will net you at least 500 additional points toward your goal. If that proves too difficult on Hard, then try it on Easy, as there are still more than enough enemies in the mission to reach 15,000 points without going for adrenaline kills.

Please see Above and beyond the call for point-scoring tips.

Of course, there is nothing particularly complicated, but if suddenly you were unable to immediately score 15,000 points, then there is an elementary way to achieve this the first time. Just when you get to the point where you need to press the detonator from C4 (at the very end of the mission), don’t do it, but just kill the enemies (two a little higher in front of you on the scaffolding, two more higher than these on the same scaffolding and one sniper in the distance + it is possible to lie down behind cover to restore health): their respawn there will be endless until you activate the explosive device.
