How to unlock the Has science gone too far? achievement in Battlefield 4 - Definitive Guide
HT-95 Levkov - A floating battle tank available on Hammerhead at Objective A and B. Also on Operation Whiteout once you capture Objective B.
XD-1 Accipiter - A gadget pickup identified on the mini map with a star. Located on Giants of Karelia near Objective A. Also on Hammerhead near Objective D in a hut. Also near Objective B in a glass enclosure. Also in Hanger 21 on the roof of Objective F near the launchers. Pick it up with , find a safe spot and hide, press and hold , then press and hold to use the device. ascends. It has endless machine gun ammo, but limited fuel.
Rorsch Mk-1 - A railgun pickup located on the minimap with a star. On every map. Located on Operation Whiteout northwest of Objective A. Located on Hammerhead on the long bridge north of the US spawn and south of Objective E. Also located 100 meters north of Objective D. Located on Hanger 21 north of Objective E on a hill. Located on Giants of Korelia slightly northeast of Objective C.
Schipunov 42 - A funky shotgun turret located on Hammerhead near Objective B and D, and near the Objective C near both tunnel entrances as well. Also located on Operation Whiteout near Objective B, C and E. Highly effective against infantry.
HT-95 Levkov is a Hover Tank that will spawn at various locations on Conquest Large, allow your team to capture the first flag and usually you'll be able to spawn right into the Hover Tank.
XD-1 Accipiter is a pickup item that you place on the ground, then go find a place to hide. Next you will fly this thing around the map, it has a Gatling type gun so you'll need to get somewhat close to kill infantry. It will take out non-armored vehicles pretty easily as well. Be sure to spam spot your enemy, as you'll be using the black and white thermal view, so spotting what you're going to kill will make this a lot easier.
Rorsch Mk-1 is another pickup item and referred to as the Rail Gun, just pick it up and kill something. Infantry is a one shit kill every time, it will take out small non-armored vehicles and will take out air vehicles with a little luck, luck because this thing takes forever to reload.
Schipunov 42 is a ground mounted turret that fires like a shotgun on steroids of sorts. It handles infantry rather easily up to 50m. After that, it's a crap shoot, and when you fire it, you're going to show up on the map, so save your shots for the sure thing. It will also take out helicopters that are close to you, preferable coming right toward you. But, in this case, I would recommend sticking to infantry and possibly just turn the turret around and point it back at the flag area where infantry will be coming into the flag area to capture the point.
HT-95 Levkov - A hover tank. Locations in Conquest:
Hammerhead - flag A & D.
Operation Whiteout - flag B.
XD-1 Accipiter - A drone, much like the MAV, but acts as a gadget pick that has unlimited ammo but limited battery life. Locations:
Hammerhead - flag B & D.
Hangar 21 - Between flags A & B, and on the rooftop of a building at flag F.
Operation Whiteout - flag C.
Giants of Karelia - flag A.
The Rorsch MK-1 - A handheld railgun. Locations:
Hammerhead - On the bridge between flags A & B, and on a hill between flags D & F.
Hangar 21 - Top of the building near flag D, and on a hill near to flag E.
Operation Whiteout - Near flag A near a crashed vehicle, and inside the camp between flags D & F.
Giants of Karelia - flag C near the helipad.
The Shipunov 42 - A stationary machine gun. Locations:
Hammerhead - flags B, C & D.
Operation Whiteout - flags B, C & E.
The HT-95 Levkov is the official name for the hover tank. For the trophy you can get the kill as either the driver or the gunner, so if you are having trouble getting used to the way the hover tank drives try jumping in the gunner's seat instead.
The hover tank doesn't spawn at base, instead it spawns at certain flags so you will need to keep an eye out for the tank spawning and try and get it when you can.
The XD-1 Accipiter is a new battle pickup on the DLC maps. It is a remote operated attack drone that is controlled in the same way as the MAV, unlike the MAV however the Accipiter has a limited lifespan.
To shoot the Accipiter's minigun press the fire button ( or depending on setup). The Accipiter is also capable of roadkilling people if you are struggling to get a kill with itds minigun.
The Rorsch MK-1, more commonly known as the railgun is another new battle pickup on the Final Stand maps. It is a single shot weapon capable of killing a person in one shot from any distance (depending on where you hit them) and it also does decent damage to non armoured vehicles. To counteract this however it needs to charge before firing and has a long reload time.
You fire the railgun more or less as you would any other gun. However as it needs to charge it does not fire immediately when you press the fire button ( or depending on setup). When it is fired the charging time is indicated by 3 beeps and arrows pointing toward the crosshair, once charged the weapon fires. A point to remember when using the railgun is that you can press to steady the scope and reduce weapon sway.
You may find it quite difficult to get a kill with the railgun as you need to track your target whilst the weapon is charging. Persevere and you will eventually get the kill.
The Schipunov 42 is the new emplacement in Final Stand. It fires a volley of projectiles, has a magazine size of 4 and is effective against infantry as well as vehicles.
As with the other AT emplacements you are quite exposed whilst manning the SC-42 so you will need to keep an eye on your surroundings whilst using it. I would recommend trying to kill infantry with the SC-42 as although it can damage vehicles it is far more effective against people and can kill them without the need to reload.
