How to unlock the RC Assassin achievement in Battlefield 4 - Definitive Guide

The way I did it was on the map propaganda to rush point E as china on conquest at the start of the map pick up the RAWR which is in a box in the large building north of E (You will see it on your map as a box with a star on it). Deploy it straight away and head for C as its the start of the match there are plenty of people that can be picked off.
Also the kills do not need to all be done with one bot as along as all 5 are in one round.

Here are some other locations that I have found where you can find the RAWR on conquest.

Propaganda:- Flag A next to the container
Sunken dragon:- Just northwest of the flag C between a tall building and small hut
Lumphini Gradens:- West of flag B round the side of a white house with wooden decking
Pearl Market:- In a ground floor building just south of flag E

The RAWR handles like an EOD bot and is equiped with a LMG and a grenade launcher. I personally found it quite hard to move around so some people may prefer to camp out the kills.

If anyone one knows of any other locations please add them in the comments cheers.

I did this in Chain Link on Pearl Market as the team starting closest to E. I then just patrolled the North-South street for the 5 kills.

Any chance you know the location on chainlink so I can add it to the guide?

It's pretty much directly south of E, just to the side of the street.

Sunken Dragon is my choice, pick up the bot at C flag and hide in the bus near there. Then drive the bot back to where you picked it up and pick them off as they run by.

I'm sure people noticed this if they needed it but personally I found the thermal annoying for moving around on some of the maps but you can switch to third person just like in vehicles.
Thanks for all the locations, made this pretty easy.

Propaganda worked a treat for me, grab it then camp in the building somewhere.

After trying on Sunken dragon for ages i got it within 5 mins on propaganda.

Difficulty: Medium and frustrating.

This is not a hard trophy, it's just frustrating.

Choose a full sized game, such as Conquest with a low amount of players (20ish) and pick a map after studying where to find the RAWR (from the video below). When you gain control of the RAWR hide in a corner nearby and deploy it with R2, while crouching, and use L2 to use it to kill 5 people in a single round.
If you fail then wait for it to respawn and try again.

I managed this on my third attempt on Propaganda.

The Remote Assisted Weaponized Robot, or RAWR for short, is a new Battle Pickup in this DLC. It is equipped with an M240 LMG, four M203 3GL launchers and a Flash Light, as well as Thermal and Zoom Optics. Like all other Battle Pickups, the RAWR spawns at specific points on all four Dragon’s Teeth maps, with its PDA resting on top of a crate labeled "RAWR."

For a visual guide on its spawn points, refer to the video below. Take note however, that on Lumpini Garden and Propaganda, it only spawns during Conquest Large matches, whereas on Sunken Dragon and Pearl Market, it spawns during both Conquest Large and Chainlink matches.

Once the PDA is picked up, the drone can be deployed and operated. In order to be most effective, it's recommended to take on only small groups of enemies while working alone and to try and flank unaware enemies when possible. Unlike most other gadgets and vehicles, the RAWR cannot reload its weapons, so conservative use of ammunition is necessary to make the most of its firepower.

Through experience, Conquest Large on Pearl Market is the easiest set-up to obtain this achievement given the tight alleyways and the large amount of players on the opposing team, compared to a small Chainlink match. Whichever way you decide to work on these kills, once you have achieved a total of 5 kills with the RAWR in a single match, the achievement will be yours.

The RAWR is a remote controlled unmanned ground vehicle armed with a machine gun and grenade launcher. It resembles and handles a lot like an EOD bot, but unlike the EOD bot it's not a gadget and must be picked up instead.

The RAWR pick-up icon resembles a remote control (similar to the MAV, Mortar and EOD Bot,) located on a crate with “RAWR” written on it. Just like other weapon pick-ups, it may be tricky to pick up the remote due to a bug that's been in the game since the release. When you try to pick-up a weapon or in this case RAWR, your character may drop the pick-up for no reason. Sometimes you'll manage to pick-up the remote with no problems, whereas other times it may take multiple attempts, so keep trying and holding until you manage to pick it up.

As the trophy description implies, you have to get five kills in a single round. If your RAWR gets destroyed before you get five kills, camp near the pick-up spawn. It will take about 3-5 minutes for it to respawn but there’s enough time in Conquest round to go through multiple RAWR respawns.

Harry94_ has made a video of all RAWR pick-up locations on PS4. Below the video, you can see the location all maps for both consoles.

You can see all RAWR pick-up locations in the images below. The images were taken in Conquest Large but contain the locations from both CQ Large and Small (PS4 and PS3 respectively). Note that some maps may contain more than one RAWR and some locations are the same on both consoles. Also, not all Chain Link maps have RAWR pick-ups at these locations, so I suggest going for RAWR kills in Conquest.

Sunken Dragon

There is only one RAWR pick-up location and it's the same on both consoles.

Propaganda

Propaganda has two RAWR pick up locations. One of the locations is exactly the same on both consoles (at A flag on the map above).

Pearl Market

There are two RAWR locations on Pearl Market map and they differ depending on which platform you're playing on.

Lumpini Garden

There is only one location on Lumpini Garden map and it's the same for both the PS3 and PS4 version. It's outside a building that's next to Bravo flag - notice that it's the building just outside the Bravo flag capture zone, not the one at the flag.

The KVDR cannot be opened, you can only pick it up. It resets once every 2-5 minutes.

Found the Sunken Dragon server. There were only 7 people there who were doing the task for Unica 6. There at point C there is a KVDR res. Since there is not much for people to do, it is much easier. Because they don't kill you right away. They are easy to kill. So I did it in a couple of minutes. I don’t recommend doing anything on the Zhemchuzhnoe map. Even though there are 2 KVDR spawn points. But first of all, there’s a wild hell going on there and more often than not you just don’t have time to get there. And if he made it, it will be dismantled in a couple of seconds.

Sunken Dragon Map. The KVDR spawn point is located next to the fountain behind the rectangular house. When you run up you will see a white emblem with an asterisk. You can hide in the bushes between high-rise buildings near the same point.

The easiest way to do it is in Capture. The match lasts 20-40 minutes, you will have time to make even more than 5 kills.

very easy trophy!

for example: capture-propaganda, we run forward, grab the “remote control” (kdr), return to the base (our own!) and in some corner, comfortably lounging, we launch, and slowly along the fence, through the bushes we drive forward. frags without harm to health are guaranteed)
