You can do this in local games. Clash at Sea works best because you can attack many spots in a single turn.
Each fleet has carriers that allow you to attack many coordinates at once. Have the second player place their ships clumped together. Skip a few turns to build up your points, then unleash them on the second player.
The second player doesn't need to play at all. They can just press
to skip their turns. I do not believe that player 2 can earn any achievements.

You will rack up a lot doing the campaign too. I wanted to also point out that it took 3 months for this to finally pop for me after being stuck at 100% on the achievement tracker.

For me, this achievement took 1 month to unlock along with 7 other 100% completed achievements. I checked the game's achievements on the game hub at least once a week and finally, they all unlocked one after another.

You will get this just by trying to get the other trophies as 150 ships equates to about 30 full games worth of them. Once you sink your 150th ship the trophy will pop.

There are thirty missions with five ships to sink in each, so this will likely unlock with natural story progression. If not, it should unlock as you go after the other achievements.
