Very easily done on the first campaign mission (rookie). Just make sure not to shoot the mini-sub down too soon, if you just keep shooting and don't even focus on the mini-sub this achievement is yours.
The achievement will pop once you've completed the entire mission (including the flying part).

You might want to add that you have to actually finish the mission before this pops... including the flying part after the sub part.
