How to unlock the Live and Let Drive achievement in Battletoads - Definitive Guide
Turn on 3 controllers get through the opening dialog for the "To the Queen" mission then before your toads hit the 1st wall reload checkpoint. Will take roughly 5-6 minutes of reloading the first checkpoint before the first set of walls
(pause and reload checkpoint before hitting the first set of walls).
I didnt see anything on here about it so i figured i would share with anyone looking for a simple solution. It just popped for me.
Discovered accidentally. While doing the pacifist achievement the game popped that achievement after I reloaded the checkpoint a couple times so I figured I'd test it out on this one too.

What a great accidental discovery! This worked exactly as described, and is absolutely the way to tackle this achievement if you're going for it with less than 3 players!

This is amazing worked perfectly! So easy to not have to fumble around with 3 controllers at once.

For the more old-school approach:
get 2 chopsticks and a load of blu tack.
line up your 3 controllers (one above the other, flat on a table) with a little blu tack to keep them in place. put a blob of blu tack in each dip of the left thumbstick and lay a chopstick across them and then build up more blu tack until you can steer with the chopstick and all 3 thumbsticks move.
add a good sized blob of blu tack onto each A button and lay a chopstick across them too so you can jump with all three at the same time.
play on tadpole. at the start of each section move completely to one side to stack your roads. every chance you get bump them against a wall to restack as they’ll drift a bit unless your chopstick steering is really good.

This is genius! Thumbs up from me.
It took me two hours to get this achievement using the method where you remap your keys. Reading your solution just after unlocking it made me wish I had seen it before.

After fumbling alot with the Xbox Accessories app I managed to complete it single-handedly. Here's the setup:
1. Invert the analog stick for movement to the right one in 2 controllers and leave the third one as is.
2. Then put the 2 controllers w/ the inverted analog in your lap aligned vertically one another, so you can control both analogs with one hand and press A in both when needed (using your index and thumb). I used my left hand for them.
3. Put the third controller w/ default commands on your lap too and use your thumb to control movement and your pinky to jump. I used my right hand for it.
4. Move the 3 analogs/press A in unison and try to keep the three frogs in the same space always. Use the sides of the stage to align them whenever you feel necessary.
EXTRA: You can also modify the third controller, so you can jump with the bumper and move with the analog using just one side of it (let's say.. RB + right analog, if you're using your right hand).
The cheevo should pop around 7:25 in the video DampishAgate10 posted.
Hope this helps! 😉

I used this idea, but I mapped A to L3 on p1, A to R3 on p2 and p3, and swapped sticks on p2 and p3. left thumb on LS for p1, right thumb on RS for p2, right index on RS for p3. Fumbled my first try, but got it the second.

That's a good alternative Nesmaster! The key idea is.. set the inputs however you feel most comfortable with and eventually you'll find a good setup to get this cheevo. 😆

Hello, the easiest way to do this achievement is to start the mission "To the Queen" in act I. turn on the three controls as soon as you start the mission when you are close to the first obstacle pause the game and go back to CheckPoint do this until you get the 300 seconds (5 minutes)
Did this by myself with 3 controllers, without using the analogs :
1. Rebind left Dash on X and right Dash on B, jump on A
2. Left hand 1 controller place your fingers on X,B,A
3. Right hand 2 controllers, index for the top one and thumb for the bottom one
Keep your frogs together, you can use the sides to group them

I still have yet to unlock this... BUT I did just time this on "easy" difficulty. So the hard part is "3P Co-Op".
Get 3 people and come back.
From what DE4N's guide says: "You have to do this without any of the players dying". So make sure no one dies (It's pretty easy on easy so you should be fine).
Level: Act 1 Stage 3 - "To The Queen"
Difficulty: Easy/Tadpole (You can easily dodge obstacles without using the dodge
Specific part: 3rd Area near the end (Past the 2nd checkpoint and right before the 3rd). When you have to continually jump from the middle, left or right, repeat for a small section. The specific location is in the video link below (The video is right around when you should get the achievement.)
Not counting the cutscenes you are going to hit the 5 minute/300 Second mark around this point: Link/Video:
Note: I didn't count the "cutscenes" just incase they don't count towards the 300 seconds.

(I recommend doing it on easy as it's A LOT slower and easier! I didn't have to use the Dodge ability once the whole time!)

The achievement is easy and can be completed solo, but you will also need three gamepads for it. Start the task “To the Queen” - 1 act 3 task.
The execution itself is that when the dialogue ends, you pass the checkpoint, after which you reach the first walls, and reload the checkpoint until the achievement is cleared. I just received this myself.
PS The main thing is not to crash into the walls themselves, and for convenience, set a stopwatch. I also want to note that only the time spent in the game is counted for the achievement, that is, the time does not count when you pause in order to reload the checkpoint, so it will take 6-7 minutes to complete depending on the loading speed.
