How to unlock the The 1% achievement in Beach Buggy Racing - Definitive Guide

As of december 21st, you only need 250000 coins

Play any event and it will unlock if you meet the criteria

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The fastest way to earn cash in this game seems to be by loosing in elimination. Each race including menus, takes 30 seconds to complete

Carrer --> choose series --> typhoon trophy --> 9

You can use boost blitz if you want mileage aswell. The reward for 3* is 420 coins but you will get 2* or even lower from time to time.
It is more demanding to race almost perfect rather then just sitting and press a few buttons every 30 seconds, so I recommend elimination if you just want coins.

Elimination last place: 120 races/hour x 240 coins = 28800 coins/hour
Championship: 3/hour x 5000 coins = 15000 coins/hour
Race 45/hour x 600 coins ( if you win them all) = 27000 coins/hour
Boost blitz: 72/hour x aprox 400 coins = 28800 coins/hour

Please give bad or good feedback and I'll update the solution with rep if necessary , thanks

I'm just going to say stay with the championships, because if you don't you will get the money a long time before reaching the k's achievement, which means a LOT more races. I got both the money and k's achievements within an hour of each other that way.

If people have been loosing much when playing the game they will have less money then mileage. Multiplayer might count towards mileage aswell (?).

Follow the leader seems to work pretty good as well. It seems to take less time than elimination. You get 80 coins per attempt.

As of today you only need to get 250,000 coins. I'm glad I waited on this haha.

Doing the daily challenges also helps, after a few days it starts adding up to a few thousand per day, and if you don't have it yet, you can also net an achievement for completing 7 daily's in a row.

should probably mention that the winnings now for each race is now halved, so will only be 14400 coins/hour for Elimination and Boost blitz, then 13500 coins/hour for races.
Making championships quickest
Edit: Quick races give 500 for 1st = 22500 coins/hour

does the money I’ve spent on upgrades count or does it need to see 250k in the bank.
Thanks

It's cumulative so you dont need a balance of 250k.

Mine glitched and reset my coin tally too. Had to get back up to the percentage I was on originally for the tracker to start moving again, ridiculous.

I've been doing a lot of championships but after reading this switched to boost blitz, because it generates more money faster and still gives me mileage (as the elimination doesn't).
Though it's closer to 24,000/hour than 28,800 due to loading times; I get about 8,000 in the 20 minutes it takes to complete a championship.
I'll probably do some single races towards the end to get the 2 cheevos at about the same time.

So, my entire games' save data was... Not lost entirely, but corrupted I guess? I stopped playing the game last night, ready to grind out my last bit of distance and coin earnings today. And everything was bugged out. My career progress was partially reset, because every vehicle has reverted back to being the bog-standard 100HP. I have to re-unlock every character because the career areas act as if they're locked again. I'm at 0 coins overall, although my progress in-game still says 91% (though it isn't increasing at all anymore... So I don't know if it's completely bugged or if it's just reset itself...), while my distance, which was at 86%, seems to be the only thing continuing to increase normally.

So... Does anyone have a single clue if I'm suddenly locked out of the 1% achievement? I wouldn't have worried about it had I not noticed that the counter absolutely isn't updating in-game anymore.

Okay, so after obtaining all the stars in career you'll be somewhere around 150,000 without doing much else. Now i know that's a far sight off the target 1million but we will get to the maths of that after. after completing the career you'll be able to earn 600 coins per race, a far sight more than the 200 at the start.

if were earning 600 coins per race then it will take 1,667 races to reach 1million but remember we've already got 150,000.

850,000 would take 1,416 races, I know that's still a lot but lets do the maths:

a race takes on average 115 seconds so its 1,416 x 115 seconds, 219,480 seconds divide that by 60 to get the time in minutes (3,658) then again by 60 to get 61 hours (60.96666667)

I will continue to deliberate this one to fine a quicker way if there is one anyway.

Good luck with this one guys, ill see you on the other side. Happy hunting!

Coins are awarded for completing a race in any position but the higher amounts of coins are obviously presented if you come first or beat the highest score on the special event levels. You also get coins for completing Championships but you do not get coins for individual races in each Championship race so at 1,000HP level you race 10 tracks and only get 3,000 coins for winning overall, whereas if you race 10 individual races on 1000HP and win you can get 500-600 points per race making 5,000-6,000 in the same time. Make sure you complete the Daily Challenges and get them up to the maximum 3,000 coins per challenge and keep them there by doing the daily challenge every day, because this is the quickest way of getting 3,000 coins in the shortest space of time (see that trophy for more info).

User lost4lost has pointed out that you can keep adjusting the system's date to keep on doing daily challenges in the same day thus allowing you to get 3000 coins per race. You can trick the system to only give you modes modes you want or are good at by advancing it a day ahead, go into the challenge, back out, change date to previous day and go into challenge for it to generate a different challenge. If don't like what it picked, repeat steps again and it will be on a different challenge on current day you left off on. Double pressing the PS button at the date and time is faster, meaning you don't have to scroll down to the day and date setting everytime.

This trophy has recently been patched to bring the requirements down but the description has not changed, some people are not getting it so all I can suggest is keep racing until you do.

This achievement is going to be a grind.

You get awarded coins by completing races in any position. The higher you come in a race the more you will get and beat the highest score on the special event levels. You get coins for completing an entire championship, but not the individual races. There is no easy way to get this, you get 500 coins for first place each 1000 HP race and 5.000 coins for each 1000 HP championship.

You can spend coins. The trophy is cumulative. The game has internal statistics.

These 100,000 are accumulating rather sluggishly. The feeling that the standard number of coins per level gets into the counter, and not the actual amount earned
