How to unlock the Battle Waltz achievement in Beast Quest - Definitive Guide

This is poorly worded. Dodging perfectly will not get you this achievement. You must dodge so that everything slows down and land a hit on the enemy. The game only seems to register 3 perfect dodges in any given battle. There is a guy in Grassy Plains, near the second campfire of the game, that is easy to do this on. He is very predictable:

If he goes left then the second he raises his weapon, you dodge left. If he goes right then the second he raises his weapon, you dodge right. If he swings his hands back and then crosses his swords, you dodge either way. Get 3 to 4 then kill him. Hopefully you get a bunch because only 3 of mine count. Now go back to the camp fire, quit after it saves, reload your game and repeat until the achievement unlocks.

A Perfect Dodge is performed by moving your character left or right just prior to an enemy attacking (with the thumbstick, not the bumpers to switch battle locations), then counter-attacking with during the short time where the enemy's movement slows down. You can dodge without getting this slo-mo effect, which means you did not hit the "perfect" timing. The bandits with two short swords are by far the easiest to predict (dodge the same way they move, not the opposite way) so you can farm this on them post-game if you don't do it often during the story.
