How to unlock the Hero of Avantia achievement in Beast Quest - Definitive Guide

I have finished this game on normal (100% complete). And the Xbox Application says that I am 3% complete this achievement, this could mean that there is one side quest in the game which can be completed 33 times to get this achievement.
More information will follow.
I have now finished the main story a second time, and the percentage has not changed, meaning it either will not work or is one of the side quests.

(edit) As of, at latest, January 29, 3:50 2020 there has been an update which solved this problem. I simply loaded up my game which had all of the side quests completed and the achievement popped within 10 seconds.

I'm playing through it now with the achievement tracker up the entire time. Hoping to catch when the 3% happens so I can see if the quest can just be repeated 33 times. Will report back when I found out.

I just got this achievement and have not finished all the quests. So now it seems it is bugged for the better.

I'm in the same boat as Fastest Slug, bugged in our favour. Turned in 2 side quests after beating the 3rd boss and it popped for me

Mine popped after turning in the third artwork quest, still haven’t beaten the third boss and plenty of side quests left to do. Bugged for the better as Fastest Slug says

Yip. Just popped after the freeing the 3rd boss. It knocked me to 50% of total completion gamewise on the main menu. So maybe 50% is the new 100% as I’ve still have loadddsssss of quest in my log.

The amount of achievements like this I've seen since returning to cheevo hunting is sickening, it's like they gave up all the fucks. Thanks for this, saved me from buying it.

Ok so the 3% occurred when I finished Collect 4 Crystal Shards, which was my last side quest. So either it's a quest that is super late game, or (more likely) you need to do every quest to get that 3%. So unless you want to do every single side quest 33 times, you won't be completing this one (and that's assuming it even stacks progress in the first place). I'm not brave enough to do that though. Way too much time needed.

Side-Quests can be found primarily in the game's towns, aside from the ones related to the "Artful Adventure" achievement (see that for more info). You will see a gold pulse on your mini-map when a quest is available and a gold triangle above the quest-giver's head (these turn green for completed quests). Most of the quests are very straightforward fetch quests or getting drops from enemies, though enemy drops tend to have a bad drop rate and could take a while. As mentioned in the Roadmap, no quests are missble so work on them as you like during the story, but don't go too out of your way, then simply finish them up after the story is complete.

Note: hit to be shown a gold glitter trail to follow (similar to Fable) to easily complete these quests. However, the trail is kind of dumb and will sometimes not show up because you're not in the right zone, so try to take note of the instructions. It will also sometimes dead-end into a wall, and I found fast traveling to the next campfire and back-tracking sometimes fixed this. Either way, it can be frustrating to complete these due to bad game design.
