A correction to the guide above
"Cousin Huey - In a corner of the room there is a ramp with a ruler on top of it. He's at the end of the ruler."

I spent ages trying to balance on the rulers in the corner to find out it wasn't Huey there.

It should read

"Cousin Huey - In the middle of the main room there's a table with vegetables on it. Half way down the ramp leading to the floor (with 2 tomatoes & 3 socks) there is a ruler heading out one edge. Huey is balancing on one leg at the end of the ruler."

Make a note that if you download any of the character packs, you will not be able to find one in a level if you are playing as that one.

It's actually just a list of the finding places named in http://katamari.wikia.com (copied word for word it seems). As JMJJimmy commented earlier, I too had some problems with the way the locations were mentioned, sometimes you still have to look all over the place even when using the guide.

Cousin Pu can't be found in Time Trial, and it's not "in the middle of the lake" but in the middle of the sea part that's surrounded by sailing ships. Cousin Miso is nowhere near a back wall underneath a window near the door outside - when facing the door to the outside, turn right and you'll see a row of "fresh" containers. Miso is in front of it standing on a dish (behind the wooden rowboats circling a table). Cousin Lalala: Once outside, roll straight through until you reacht the river. Keep the river on your left hand and roll through, in the middle of a bend there's a snall island connected by three wooden pallets (can't even imagine why the guide talks about two bridges). On the island is a tower of stuff that rises from the ground and descends back into it, on top is Lalala. This is where I give up on the guide; it's just too messy.
