How to unlock the What was That? achievement in Before We Leave - Definitive Guide

After a few hours of in-game time (my time was around three hours) and once you’ve colonized at least two planets, you should get a warning about something stirring deep in space. Wait about 30 more minutes and one of your planets will be attacked by a space whale. Hopefully it won’t take out a bunch of buildings and this achievement should pop once it’s gone!

Im playing 17h have 5 Planets but no whale attack, doing something wrong?

Since I don't have access to the game anymore, I can't verify -- did you select any custom options? I didn't try any of the scenarios, but the whale attacks should occur at regular intervals after leaving the first planet. If anyone else can confirm, I can add to the guide. Thanks!
