How to unlock the Career Athlete achievement in Beijing 2008 - Definitive Guide

To progress to the next day in the Olympic Games mode you'll be required to meet certain criteria. This will range from qualifying for a certain event to winning four out of five Golds. If you fail it will be game over and you'll have to reload and try again. Should take about 2-3 hours.

is it best/possible to backup the save after every day than?
cause you don't want to restart day 1 after e.g. you failed day 12

I'm not sure if that's possible. Perhaps you could confirm?

not realy a need to make a backup/alternative save. If you fail it says game over but u can just reload the save and redo the day you failed
Doing this will make you unable to get the Hardcore olympian on that save
But i did it anyway and used the saves to get other achievements with slomotion mode
Think this does take longer than 3 hours more like 4 or 5

You can save each day and go back to where you fail if you have done, once you have a general idea with the gymnastics the only time you really need to do this is before the hurdles/judo day and before the final day
