USE SLOW MO. This cannot be emphasised enough. When you reach the pole vault in Olympic games mode use slow mo as soon as you start sprinting. The faster you're run up is the larger the box that you have to get the marker into is.
Also you can keep declining heights until you get to 6m otherwise it will take ages.

This event is a little glitchy from what I've seen. There are many occassions when you have the right amount of power and land in the bar yet he still knocks the bar off.
If you are having this problem then delete your cache and play without downloading the update. I found far fewer problems with the pole vault when this was done.

Just an addition to the solution above showing you how its done.
All credit goes to: deckdizzle for this video, the height was exactly 6.00 so u can get the achievement with that height cleared and not above.
