If you're having trouble getting a decent score on twist, you should look at the "there goes a supernova" achievement to learn how to make those, and I also wanted to map out how to make lightning gems (matching 5 gems). If you can make a supernova, and a couple lightning gems, match any multipliers up before the time runs out, you can get anywhere from 40k to 160k, depending on your last hurrah. Here's how I make lightning gems.

The "O" is any color, "R" is red (lowercase letters point out the next step easier.)
You want to turn your circle clockwise on this area: (lowercase)
ro ------ rr
ro ------ oo
This will give you a lightning gem, looking like this:

Practice and practice some more, I thought I was going to be grinding classic to lvl 50, but after practicing this mode and learning these 2 tricks, i'm averaging about 80k a round. If you're reading this you were probably doing what I did starting out, just randomly spinning everything hoping for some combos haha. Hope this helps!

Your diagram is a bit confusing to me, but I do know alot of ways for lightning gems, in fact there is a way to make 2 simultaneously. It'll look something like this

To get them you'll have to make the T with the middle gem above one of the others, and twist it into place to make the T. Such as

yeah its hard making a diagram in a text box haha, too lazy to take screenshots or a vid, and your double trick is pretty interesting. i havent played in awhile since i've got it 200/200 but thanks for the comment!

Straight forward enough.
You need a total score of 4.5 Million in both Twist and Classic.
Your score becomes your XP and you can track this on the completed game screen.
The achievement pops as soon as you get enough points mid game.
